no no...should say...fun fun then buy razer product for fun also...=) cheers...

that exact statement is the reason why i ended up buying my copperhead... laugh.gif

after that, there's no turning back. I am Razer-ified... brows.gif

while we're at it, why don't we share stories about why we buy Razer stuff in the 1st place? I mean, what made u hooked up with Razer. I'll start:

My affair with Razer began 1.5 years ago, in Thundermatch Plaza Alam Sentral, Shah Alam. At that time when it was still new, they have lotsa Razer stuff, even Lachesis and Destructor (now all razer stuff gone, maybe no buyers). At that time i was looking for a new mouse to use with my new pc. So i browsed around, and looked at the Copperhead. I was like WTH? A mouse for rm210? But the packaging looked damn cool... The green lights looked wicked... And i said, this will look great next to my rig. And so i took the Chaos Green Copperhead, and walked to the counter.

Then i saw the Mantis Speed. I thought, that must be the coolest mousepad i've ever seen! And the color scheme fits my Copperhead like a charm. Those two were made for each other, i thought. So i bought it...

After that came the Goliathus Speed, to replace my Mantis Speed, and the Megalodon. So yeah, my 1st Razer purchases were entirely based on aesthetics. But i'm very happy the products perform as damn good as they look.

What's your story? rclxms.gif

hey, i saw your new carcharias... congrats on the purchase!

it puzzles me though, i never got overheated ears when using my megalodon (assuming that it is built the same way as the carcharias)

Speaking of movies, last night i watched transformers 2 m-HD x264, and fuhhh... the sound shook my megalodon... Literally! I maxxed the master volume. It almost re-lived the cinema experience. ALMOST. No surround... cry.gif

the surround sound is actually depend on the source...if ur source dont have surround sound, it just can virtually produce the surround sound, like copy the left and right sound and output on rear speaker...correct me if i am wrong..
*
Correct, bro.. nod.gif So, no point turning on the 7.1 when the source is 2.0 stereo.

Oooh, Naga... i wonder what will happen if it is used for FPS instead... I mean, programming the side buttons for weapon 1, 2, 3, etc, etc... brows.gif

Added on October 13, 2009, 12:14 ambro everdying, may i suggest you do one part of the review on the useability of the Naga side buttons for various genres of games?

Oh, remember the part where we talked about whacking people's head with gaming gear? Well, here's what it'll look like!

so which one is better? megalodon or carcharias/piranha + sound card?
*
Quite a subjective question there... I'd say it depends on what kind of soundcard (i assume, for this case it's USB) you want to pair the headphone with. If cap ayam rm35 soundcard, sound will be like cap ayam la... laugh.gif

Pair them with good ones, like X-Fi Go/Xonar U1, of course you will get better sound. If u can tweak the EQ, lagi bagus... thumbup.gif

Eh, u got JVC headphone oso want to complen? I tweak EQ for u summore... hahaha...

That' the Razer Mako, bro... Now circa rm1.2 to 1.3k, if i'm not mistaken. Yeah, they look like drums, but it's THX certified, so that's saying something.

What's the use of the onboard memory? blink.gif

This site say got onboard memory > http://www.nivo.co.za/buy~razer~p18436
*
well, onboard memory is useful when you want to use that particular mouse in another pc. all settings stored in the Synapse to you don't have to retune the mouse everytime.
