Haha I wonder why they even bothered to keep it a secret?

Anyway yeah they looks super cool. May I know what kind of coating is used for the mouse? Doesn't look like Razer's norm rubber coating, more like a glossy, painted on surface.

I think RM600 was for 2 of them.
Looks way cool, yes, but I wouldn't use them haha. The same with the C&C3 Edition DeathAdders. A bit tacky.

There's a red backlited Lycosa in China? Or do you mean the Aurantia?

Either that's some serious mod or a nifty video edit.

I don't think Razer made red Lycosas. China already has a red backlit keyboard in the form of the Aurantia so a red variant of the Lycosa would be redundant.

It shouldn't be that sensitive. Try updating the firmware and drivers. With the latest drivers, pressing the touch panel no longer starts up windows media player automatically, instead the buttons only work after you've opened WMP.

The Aurantia is only available in China, and no where else.

Someone did do a bulk here like a year ago. Go search around in Garage Sales/Bulk Orders.

Let him enjoy his new mouse will ya, guys? Instead of warning him of problems that are not reoccurring for all Mambas?

Mine is still working perfectly after 3 months of hard use, likewise a couple of my friends' who also bought the first batch Mambas.

the two xtra key on the top left key there make me feel uncomfortable...=(

Those 2 buttons are the DPI switchers, up and down, from 5 user-selected DPI values. There's also a DPI switch display on the mouse.

Used as DPI switchers, the placement for these two buttons are great, miles better than the ones on the Copperhead, Lachesis, Ikari Optical, MS SideWinders, et al. I've never switched DPIs on a regular basis with all my other gaming mice, but I do with the Mamba.

And if you don't intend to switch DPIs, those buttons are far off to the corner enough so you'll never accidentally press them.

About the same price as the Lachesis - +/-RM270ish.

It's hardly an alternative to the Mamba, as it's aimed for mobile use on laptops, and occasional gaming. It's too small to be comfortable for long use anyway. And in wireless mode, it's not gaming-grade at all, unlike the Mamba which performs the same in wired/wireless mode.

It's a re-skinned DiamondBack (not 3G). Likewise the Pro|Pad is a white eXactMat.

Got complaint, the cable is too short, at least until I get my new casing haha.

But other than that, I'm fully satisfied with it. A much better buy than the Lycosa/Arctosa in my opinion. And no, I wouldn't have the cheek to classify it as a Razer product, but it's 'Powered by Razer' nonetheless hahaha.

well...some news just in...
both Naga and DA2 will be available by mid-oct.

and in surprising news, price of mako will fall to RM1099.
i think pigs are flying right now.

That's some interesting news.. Not that I'm interested in them la. Really surprised to know that the Mako's price is reduced though. would be good if more people can get it now.

The battery covers on the 2 Mambas I've had fit perfectly well.

But some users here did mention that theirs' were protruding a lil bit, causing noticeable friction, especially on a cloth pad (but then again the Mamba is already crippled on a cloth mat anyway =p).

english too poor still not so understand sry can explain more easy way?? and a f*ck news for me guy hlp me solve this problem let c this below pic
NEED HELP T_T cry.gif the ribbon to pull battery is inside  cry.gif too careless

Isn't it written clearly enough not to leave the plastic flap beneath the battery? I guess you'll have to claw the battery out.

About the battery cover, some Mambas do have 'unbalanced' (his word, not mine) battery covers. The key word here is some, not all.
If yours is misaligned, you might feel a distinct dragging feeling on a cloth mat. On a hard mat it is less pronounced. You can try bend the cover slightly if you think it's too annoying.

1k is still count as expensive for me for a 2.1 speaker...LOLX

Well, no one said it was cheap. It is expensive, that's for sure, but whether or not it's worth it is a different matter altogether. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find any Mako owners who are not fully satisfied with it. For me I think it's worth the price even prior to the price drop, and more.

Well I guess I can say that it was my least favourite Razer product. Not that it's a bad keyboard per se, but I didn't like it much.
