Most metal casing type phone is like tat de la.. Even 8800 arte is like tat.. I bet e63 also like tat when it heat up.. All phone now heat up.. With great power comes greater heat.. Lol.. Now phone processor is running at nearly 400 mhz lor.. Sure hot lor.. No fan ma..

U backup ur phone at ur house computer d right? So u can get back d back up from ur com later lor.. I guess must be some usb issue on both of ur computer.. Ur gf com also on W7 ?

Can somebody help? I want to send it to Nokia,
but i really need to use the phone in the next
few days. cant afford to send it for repair for
another 2 weeks.

do u hav google map? try tat.. it has gps lock-on as well.. and try with garmin as well..

How can an idle phone be hot...it is not possible.. If u say surfing on youtube it become hot i believe la..i surf whole day on opera mini also nvr get hot.. If i surf on skyfire it is a bit warm lor.. U r on 3g connection is it? R both ur phone on gsm only ,utms only or dual mode? Same telco? Sometimes coverage play apart..

Send ur phone to nsc for check up i think urs gps chip is loose..if u say even google map cant get a lock on then there is an issue there.. I dont noe how u troubleshoot though.. So if u can update more.. I might help out...

using opera mini 5 or mobile jus press *+d-pad down to close, *+d-pad up is to open new tab.
jus play around u will learn more shortcut..

dude.. ur garmin is workin right u got a lock-on right? jus tat ur a-gps recorded no data transfer right? how long it take u to get a lock on?

u try at where? outside or inside house? gps wont work inside house.. even if ur agps is off u should get a lock-on.. it jus take longer time.. try it out again when u r out side.. if u dont get a lock-on that mean is either software and hardware failure d..
u got google map..try it as well..try it in an open area, select option>option turn on gps,( make sure u r not on wifi)

with nokia centre u sent to? tell them tat ur gps is faulty.. and it is not software part.. bug them a little.. urs is a new ori set right? if not more than 2 week i believe can 1 to 1 exchange ..

erm i dont think it is possible to use a back up file for e51 on e71.. y dont u back up ur contact on e51 to outlook and use it on e71 instead..

Type *#7370# from the standby screen while your phone is on.
It will ask for the lock code which is 12345 unless you have previously changed it.

haiyo.. stated lot of times d.. take out ur mcard.. as garmin is install in mcard.. back up 2 files, folder (garmin folder and garminxt.sis) which will is in ur mcard.. after u back up to some where safe.... delete everything in ur card.. dont format it yet( jus to be safe) after u reset ur phone put in the mcard and format it using ur phone.. after tat remove and place back the two thing u hav back up and install garmin back from ur phone through the garminxt.sis

Back up d data la.. But format d card.. Music,pic,video can all be put back later de ma.. Software part ..hard a bit if u dont hav installer lor.. But it is always best to start clean as i hav said.. If u reset ur phone but ur card still unformated.. It will install back a shadow copy of all d previous app.. But u might not be able to open those app..plus when u restart d phone.. U will get file corrupted or installation not complete..
