QUOTE(Oldfart @ Oct 25 2009, 08:17 AM) lol- yeah, they are not as good as T's at killing. Though if I leave something in there, sooner or later they will get it! I wonder where can i get giant one...Guys i have a question, how long it takes for Ts to molt from the butt darkening sign to a molting process? My smithi butt is become darker and its been 2 week now. She also don't want to eat. If i give her cricket, she just scared the cricket away...I never experience tarantula molting before. |

QUOTE(Oldfart @ Oct 25 2009, 09:34 AM) Got a pic of the butt? Depends on the size of the T and how dark it is. I had a one inch boehmei molt within 2-3 days of when the butt turned almost black. My 7 inch blondi took about 2-3 weeks from when her bald spot started to get really dark. I cant get the pic coz shes hiding in her cave, but sometimes shes go out and when shes go out, i try to snap a pic n post here. My smithi measure about 5"LS. Maybe have to wait another 1 week?? Added on October 25, 2009, 11:44 am QUOTE(RyoKenzaki @ Oct 24 2009, 10:59 PM) Yup its P. QUOTE(Oldfart @ Oct 25 2009, 12:00 PM) How big does your local vinegaroon species get? Mastigoproctus giganteus gets to about 3+ inches body length. Mine are about 2inches BL right now but looks exactly like yours. Yup mine also 2inch BL. Can i put more than one vinegaroon in one enclosure?QUOTE(tunemystylez @ Oct 25 2009, 12:01 PM) Thanks mate |
