during the day, i can download fast. at night, i cant. wierd...
was trying to update my nokia phone using nokia software updater.
at 3pm, it can download the updates at 30kb/s. i cancelled cause i wanted to backup my phone data.
now trying to update again, barely moving at 5kb/s...

I thought throttling should be slow during the day, fast at night?? Or am i missing something here

Hmm, looks like you having the same case here with me.
Yes, I notice that from 830pm - 1230am + ..my line speed is totally crap..roughly 30-40kpbs or lesser. and surfing net is kinda slow. once after 1am my speed returns back to normal till the next day 830pm again. Is either is congested during that hour or streamyx just somehow capped every or most of 1mb user bandwidth during this hour based my assumption icon_rolleyes.gif

hmm... i guess it's time for me to find a software that will monitor my bandwidth usage...

GOD if TM implements this, please at least provide a page that shows the REAL TIME data transfered...

otherwise it will really be a hassle for us....

DU Meter is 30day trial and buy...

found one, gave a call to my friend that is in IT line... he recommended this:

http://www.metal-machine.de/readerror/inde...tpmod;dl=item23

after install, remember to right click at system tray icon - options - load on windows startup...

if you wana see the bandwidth usage.. right click at the system tray icon... click totals... its all there for you.

there is even a notification feature at options- notifications tab -
it can notify you when when you set the usage amount...

once you set the usage amount... there will an info at the "totals page" which can give you projections and the average left per day..

this the the best i could find...

hope this helps

still testing the program, i will reset it when TM announce the throttle. eg if they announce it's effective every 1st day of the month, i have to reset it on 1st Sept
