Struck by 3rod error code 0020 on 7 Jan 2008

Fixed myself using X-clamp. manage to revived.

Whether you use extra fan or not you will in the end you will also get 3rod. Even if you try to mod your fan, you also will get ban by MS

So forget it. There is a risk by buying Xbox 360

Ya but you are also drawing a bit power out. But is better then nothing. If the electricity fluctuate, then it will blow up the fan like what happen to mine.

GPU Error / GPU Overheating

Getting another console tomorrow. See whether I can revive error 0110. Trying my luck.

Is 0110 repairable? I mean the rate. Tailgunner, may I know your exp with this error code? Anybody else which have encounter it can I know the rate?

So sacred of seeing my console 3rod because i got fed up with opening my console. The opening the console is my nightmare part which is the casing. Feel like throwing the console to the wall and break the casing then magically open.

So still use X-clamp method?

Been fixing it whole night.

First able to revive. But once put in game, after 10 sec, the display on my tv like go out of sync ( it's like you looking for a channel in old tvs ) then suddenly black but still got sound. When quite back to dashboard, there was display again.

Second, after overheating it, I tried. everything works fine. Can start playing also. After 10 minit, the game freeze. I reset and try another time. Again in 10 mint, game freeze or sometime less then that.

Today, third time. On console, after 1 minit, there was a huge beep sound. after that display no show nothing already.

Redo X-clamp. 3rod came again, and I reheat it again. Now waiting for it to cooldown.

This is what happen when you buy a 2nd hand Xbox 360. Well this is my 2nd Xbox 360. i currently got 2 with me.

Who want's to know how much I paid for the whole 2nd hand Xbox 360 premium set ( including console, cable, psu, control, cable and vga cable, 20gb hdd )

Sorry for your 3rod. Check what error code is it then you might able to fix it.

Well, I was able to revive the 2nd console and working so far fine after 30 minit + playing Enternal Sonata. I stop because I died which got kill by the big big rat.

I gave up on fixing mine. I gave it to vergil. HAHA. Got frustrated after fixing 1 error and the next error and the next error and bla bla bla.

I say wait for the jasper set? Because currently they resize the CPU only not the GPU.

You play game you use most of the GPU so like that lor.....

Well, my 2nd Xbox died. gave to Vergil also can't.

Selling the scrape. See the buy and sell thread Anyone 1? The motherboard is toast. I burn until become 1 rod. HAHAHA.

By time you buy that type, don't you think new Xbox already launch?

I was thinking of getting the talismoon wind fan. dunno worth it or not. Not for the lights lar but the air-flow.

I am. Is GH selling ? Cost buying on net then converting back to Rm exp.

They don't fix for you. They replace for you with another console. Well the console might be a brand new 1 or they just collect 3rod console fix it and give you and tell you a new 1

0102 is bad. I manage my 2nd xbox to revive 4 times but then died on me permenantly.

Lucky my 1st was 0020. Hehe.

Actually the 0020 stands for a lot of things. Is not just the problem above. For example, if any your component power or cable lose, it still shows the error above.

And seriously, this topic is not necessary.

Is up to you.
If 1st method, is whether you are lucky or not whether you manage to revive it.

If 2nd, they will give you a 3rod set which they fix ( if they say new set, ask them to kiss you @ss ). So if you are bad luck as micheal, then it's no point.
