if you're encountering 3RRoD no error code will be displayed on LCD. you need to initiate a secondary error code by using the eject button, link button on console and the ring of light on the console to interprete.

It's included in the link, read to the bottom look for secondary code.

How sure u are? it might be just a pile of dust at fan holes.

For me if it 3RRoD I'll just treat it like "tile to perform some maintainance"...Send it out to SG and get back 7days later......

Game is not my life but my hobby, So I don't see any problem.

My PSone cost me more last time...So it's still ok for me.

Unless you willing to voild yourwarranty and moddingthe internals, no...you don't have any other way to prevent 3RRoD, even with the spanking loud external fan attached.....

Put in extra fan, extend the air duct, thermal paste..all required cracking up the box.....

someone even did the watercooler within the casing.....

Alternatively, you may email xbox support for your problem and they'll call you back. Get a Reference number and swap your console @ xbox Service Hub on the stated date.

Eh dude, I think from the very beginning he mentioned RM300 is to send your console to SG for Microsoft warranty.

Not repairing you console.

Dude, it can be fixed. Usually it's juset the GPU fried and not the board.

But problem will recur or not is another story.

You should send it back to the same person again.

or buy a new console.

IMO, if your console still failed after 3 times of repair, you should really consider buy a new console.

You will not get this problem if your console is not illegally modified and willing to send your console to singapore for replacement as all xbox360 console is covered by 3 years warranty from general hardware error.

No, it's not possible to fix bent board. bent board essentially means most of the main component is damaged.....fixing them is more expensive than buy a new console

you might be thoe one struck with the bad luck. warranty from shop will need you to pay coz so called warranty is just on labor fees.

Warranty from Microsoft is the one assuring--Less chance for recurring problem, free.

...erm....YLOD can be fixed if you know how.

3RRoD is the one will recur....so to me it's quite the opposite..
