I m thinking of buying a xbox, but seem like so many problem.

Is it really so easy to get 3rod? I wondering still want to buy xbox or not....

Arghhh, 3ROD error code 0020.

The XBOX started to freeze with artifacts (similiar to PC GPU over-the-limit overclock crash) after playing a few times with discs that were spinning extremely fast. Then other games started freezing as well. Then came the 3ROD. Managed to boot up once or twice after 3ROD but it'd just crash after a few minutes and 3ROD again.

2 of my friends' Falcons are 3ROD. Both bought in Jan 08 and doesn't even last for a year.... disappointed. I've fixed like 4 xboxes now... none of them are mine though so don't know they still work or not.

my falcon only last for 6 months then 3rod.. sent to bernard for repair the 1 week after that 3rod again

the new falcon set who did the x-clamp wont last long... i fixed a falcon 3rod but it keep coming back. the error code is 01304102

hahhah...same with me but im quite sure that my xbox is not falcon..the error code is 010100101 and keep going..doesnt go back to 3 red lights...still cannot solve it without x clamp....

My XBXOX 3ROD fixed with Ivan's Reballing method, revived on 19 Oct 2008 ~!

How much did u spend for Reballing? 1 of my x360 had error 0102 & 0103. DIY x-clamp replacement didnt fix it.

It cost me RM400, with a 3 month warranty. but Ivan does not do reballing after X-clamp..you can refer to his thread on the first post

my crap-box just get hit by 2 RROD. Whats wrong? The crap-box can run for about 10 seconds then it just shutdown by itself but the 2 red light is still on. my crap-box previously hit by 3RROD but i revive it by towel trick. can anyone fix it.

2 RROD means overheat. if you have removed the x-clamps, maybe the heatsink not properly put or thermal not enough / too much. or maybe the fan not working.
