Wishful thinking of course. China brand will die on the first day after warranty period. Even it survive you'll start to get all sort of problem. One must be extremely lucky to get it working without any problem.

I believe hypermarket like carrefour, giant, tesco etc. still carry branded crt tv. Some local e&e shop also have. I even saw a local shop near my house is still selling VCR player!!!
