even though RM spent nearly 250m, the best performer still Casillas and Guti.

Ronaldo too individual. Lack of team spirit. Look at Messi, people keep saying he's from another planet but his performances still maintain and really down to earth. Every time Real got freekick, even though Xabi, Guti want to take that but if Ronaldo get the ball, surely he will take the freekick. No offense to RM fans, 80M for Ronaldo totally wasted.
I think Guti is the best midfield that RM have. His passing as good as Xavi. After he coming on, Real look dangerous and his contribution really good even plays as sub. Pellegrini really have tremendous pressure during his day at Real. I dont see he still RM manager next season. Zidane, Ronaldo fat, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos, Raul, Guti, is the team that Barca have nowdays. |

Jose style of selection players always like this:
When he change defend, midfield n attacking will be the same line up like previous match. If he change midfield, attacking and defend will be the same like previous match. It happened to Chelsea n Inter Milan. |

QUOTE(verx @ Oct 2 2010, 12:23 AM) This right here is a great example of selective memory and over-exaggeration. 100% agree with you. This summer, Real Madrid really bought decent young player, khedira, ozil, pedro leon, canales,di maria, really promising players for the future. Just wait when all these players click together and the OLD REAL MADRID will appear again. By the way, i agree myparano regarding of Cristiano Ronaldo. For me, he never suit Real Madrid. Too greedy, one man show type of player, this kind of player really suit with MUAs supporters, especially the younger ones, we must realise that the galactico era is just a very small part of Real Madrid's history. Trying to imply that it isn't Real Madrid anymore just because Del Bosque left, Makelele got sold, Figo got sold, R Carlos got sold is just spitting at over a century's worth of history. Players come and go. Figo when he was sold was already over 30 and could hardly beat a fullback anymore. R Carlos was becoming a liability in defence (CL against Bayern anyone?). Ronaldo? He only won 1 league title in a season when he was only fit for half a season. The same amount that Becks won. I'm not downplaying their achievements because they all played an important part in our history but you must realise that even before the galactico era we have assembled and dismantled countless teams. Winning teams at that. So when u say u want to see the 'old' Real Madrid again, how old exactly are u referring to? Cause the galactico team can still be considered quite recent and Real Madrid existed way before then. And for the record I DON'T want to see another galactico era. That era summed up what went wrong with the club's direction. I want the club to go back to its roots when it was just primarily a football club concentrated on winning matches and trophies. The signs so far have been promising. The current team is very young and ambitious. And the squad has better depth in terms of talent compared to the galactico days. We just need to show a little patience for everything to start clicking together. |

QUOTE(mybiebie @ Oct 6 2010, 01:56 PM) Messi is better than him but still overshadow by Ronaldo coz Messi didnt need media highlight, low profile person, not greedy, not one man show type of player.Wesley Sneider is a brilliant player, Angel Di Maria scored a lot of goal so far but no one higlight his contribution so far.Arjen Robben also a good player. Yes, he deliver 20 or 30 goal for season because very selfish. At MU, Tevez scored two goal and they got penalty kick. Tevez want to take the penalty to complete his hattrick but Ronaldo insist to take that. So selfish and greedy. U cant deny that when u watch Real Madrid or Portugal, u can see how greedy he is.. Sometimes others player in very good position to score but he never pass it coz he is CR7. I never seen any type of player except this one. Rooney has a tremendous display since Ronaldo left. Nistelrooy lost his place at United because of this primadona. I think with current squad, REAL still can survive without CR7 because there are many decent players at real right now but all of them overshadow by one primadona. Last season Mourinho was criticised when he approached negative tactic to his team but the result Inter Milan won the tie.
Now, 5-0 defeated show that negative tactic is the best solution to play against team like Barcelona. They totally from different planet. Hiddink also used the same tactic when Chelsea met Barcelona during Champion League but still at the losing side. |
