OK here are some points I can confirm so far from my research:

1] Really no-stock due to overdemand.. sohai Maxis betul
2] Most Maxis CS knows close to nuts but act like they are Maxis VP when answering enquiries.
3] Should use where Wifi is available as often as possible
4] iTunes US Store ROCKS!
5] Buy ITunes Gift Card from Ebay with Paypal is an awesome option
6] Have to be ultra careful with data usage and keep track of it
7] iPhone is an addiction... still can't wait to get my hands on mine tongue.gif
8] 3GS is really fast & feature rich and good buy for those new to iPhone but not compelling enough for those who owns the 3G.
9] A powerful GPS app is missing for us Malaysian iPhone users.
10] Need to set aside another budget to get accessories, apps, games and etc which will most likely catch you by surprise.

OK.. I searched and viewed numerous threads but unable to find an answer particularly for the new iPhone 3GS running OS 3.1

The issue I am facing is:

I would like to transfer all my contacts from my old phone (Sony Ericsson) to my new iPhone 3GS. Is there a way to do this? Also can bluetooth be used to transfer contacts?

Thanks in advance.

from your SE phone, copy your contacts to the SIM card first.

and from there, use the function on the iPhone to copy over.

or, if you are move tech savvy, use the preloaded SE software on your PC and transfer the contacts to outlook and synchronise via iTunes

Thanks bro... that seems like a heck loads of work but what to do.

Actually the other issue is that the number of contacts on my old phone REALLY outnumbers the capacity of the Maxis SIM card... sigh.

Just a quick question guys... didn't find it in the other iPhone newbie thread.

How can we delete all Missed Calls records only and not the Recent Calls list?

Cheers!

I searched but can't find anything.

My question is how can I listern to my songs from iPhone via my office notebook / computer speakers without transferring any of them over and without iTunes installed.

I would just like to plug my iPhone in with the connector and play the songs with the sound streaming thru the comp's speaker.

Cheers!

The Keyboard Sleeve That Turns Your iPhone Into a BlackBerry

user posted image

"the iPhone doesn’t have a physical keyboard. Does this mean one has to crammed into (or onto) it at all costs? If you’re a former BlackBerry addict, perhaps it does."

Guys,

how to see or any app may can differentiate 3G data usage and wifi data usage ??

If u go under Cellular Network Data in General Settings, it will show only ur 3G and Edge data usage. I'm not bothered about my Wifi usage on my iPhone (which should be a lot) so can't help u there buddy.
