3g status icon = 3g signal. E = Edge signal. Out of curiosity, why do you want to disable 3g?

You will also use date in Edge, just slower. The only way to prevent data usage is change the apn information.

That is only applicable if you iphone is jb. The safest way is to change your cellular data network info.

Not sure if this is the right topic to be posted in, is there any hacked application that will disable right swipe search function on home screen?
