Does anyone know any program that is able to make a full length mp3 ringtone instead of just 30 secs?

Just one question, is it okay to update to FW 3.1 on an official unlock and jailbroken maxis i3gs sets?

i incidentally found out this morning that only one of the two speakers is emitting sound from my i3gs. when i cover the one with sound coming out from it with my finger, i can only hear very faint sound coming out of the other one, anyone else has similar thing happening to their iphone?
