Just want to ask about my wife iphone problem.

She had an iphone 2G, 8GB Version 2.2.1, the problem is the network signal is most of the time very weak.
Hard to make and receive phone calls. I have it check from the shop and told us it might be a software problem,
so we have it upgrade from 2.2, but the problem still exist.

Need help/advice from Iphone Experts.
