try to restart the phone and see how it goes... then try to connect it back onto the itunes, maybe itunes will sync back the message into the iphone since itunes always snyc data everytime it connected to iphone.

use itunes and you can sync into your MBP, and also make sure what thing you want to sync the iphone with the macbook.

p/sL there a way you can take the backup data from your itunes and save it into you new MBP. i think it can sync just like what it has in your old laptop/pc/mac's i think. but im not sure where the backup file, try to google it to fnd the answer.

how long and when this prob occur.? i mean it is always somehow deleted after read new message etc?when it start to happen..? maybe some software you install makng the things happend i guess hehe, maybe restore again will make the problem clear....

using winter board will take around 20 to 25mb of your 128Ram on the iphone. i usually use memtools downloaded from cydia and always fre my ram in order for my phone not always lagg after a lot of app/games i play/use.

try to reboot your phone after added those 2 application into the categories folder, and after that if still got those 2 application outside your folder try to use gUICache(downloaded from cydia) and press Rebuild.

hopefully it can be solve.

erm, it seems the app crash whenever you want to use it. sorry bro i cant be any help to you, but this is just my prediction. i think there is some app that clash with the categories app and make it crash like that( im just saying only)

if it was the app store app you can hold the app icon until it giggles( if this word correct?, haha) then there an 'x' mark beside the icon.
if the app from cydia you can uninstall it from cydia.

and also native app cannot be delete. may we know what app you were referring to?

i think there a way to enable tethering in setting but im not sure, as for sending out mms after you put your phone number in setting>phone( i really not sure it is on the setting>phone or in the setting in message app.) then it should be ok, tethering also enable for 3G.


anyway what is the baseband of the OS3 GM.? and also is there a video recording option in camera? because AFAIK only 3GS have video recording not 3G( eventhough 3G last time in beta have those function).

Added on June 12, 2009, 12:12 pmand btw, i heard OS3 GM dont have its MMS IF you UPDATE the carier setting on your iphone it somehow disable the mms option on the message app, it will only re appear on official release of OS3 which will be this june 16.

i don't think so because here in malaysia only support up to 3.6Mbps only for the time being. until maxis upgrade their network to 7.2Mbps then we can use it.

what do you mean chatting? did you mean you are talking? there a sensor on top of the iphone and when the phone near your ear the screen will turn off and it will turn on again when it's not near your ear. then basically you can use the virtual keypad there..

usually his computer will need your account authorization email thingy. if not when he sync the app will be lost if im not mistaken, because all app will need to be authorize with the same email on the computer for the app to be in the phone.

i believe the OS3 crash and it is because the app is not yet compatible with the OS3. the onlyway for you is to restore it back and see how it goes, personally when cydia app make the phone crash even after you successfully reboot etc, you will notice that the OS3 laggy etc( at least for me after i install some app from cydia)

do google for the app that compatible for OS3 for the time being.
