ITunes not being able to verify Iphone Itunes Remote App

Problem Encountered :
Basically i downloaded the itunes remote app from the app store.. it's a great app and it worked for a while.

Unfortunately, I recently installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 on my Vista 64 PC. This basically broke the app for me.

Basically i can pair my iphone up over my home wireless network and itunes will recognise my iphone as a device. But when i enter the passcode on my remote to allow it to control itunes, itunes will not verify the remote passcode.

So if anyone out there is using remote and KIS2009 successfully, any help on the settings would be appreciated.

Steps Had Taken (list down) :I've tried disabling the firewall but putting mdsnresponder, itunes and applemobiledevices into trusted apps on KIS but no luck so far.
