The above statement clearly means that the Landlord is bound legally to pay the quit rent, assessment, service charges and other expenses in connection to the Said Premises OTHER THAN THOSE AGREED by you as a tenant.

BTW, i am not a lawyer...don't shoot me if i am wrong. smile.gif

Have to tumpang a question on this TA thread.

Has any of you (as landlords) put a clause in your TA that says something to the equivalent that if tenant does not leave the premise at the end of tenancy in good clean condition, say, 200 bucks will be deducted from security deposit for professional cleaning charges ???

Normally you dont say how much to charge.. you just mention all expenses in removing, repairing and replacing all the damages or missing items will be deducted against the security deposit.

If let say the tenanat left alot of damage furniture..it will not be enought to cover the labour + transport + Local dump site cost...

Thanks, ehl, for your feedback.

Am refering more to general state of housekeeping -i.e. cleanliness of kitchen, floor etc.

If the landlord is not happy with the cleanliness of kitchen or floor, he or she will charge you by asking help from professional services.

If it is only dusty..normally they wont borther, but if is oily and stain.. surely they will charge you...
