kinetic scrolling is nice but no news on new homescreen?
I am also thinking the same thing.. but i guess we have to just wait and see... to be honest, I dont think it will ever come now that there are so many s60v5 devices coming out in the next few months.
i buy it from a former tubian, soo it's a 2nd hand unit.. november 2008..
btw guys... a miracle happens in ramadhan , my bh-503 is working again.. charging it now.. yay!!..
You guys damn drama la... this kind of thing is small matter. Sometimes the device's battery is soooo flat that even charging also got no indicator of it being charged. You need to let it charge a while and it will come back to life.
btw since we are on the topic, u shld update to the newest Ovi Maps..
* Improved application start up * Brand new menu with one touch access to content and services * New and improved one-box search * New features in car navigation service: ‘Drive home’ and ‘Track me’, * New features in the pedestrian navigation service: ‘Walk home’ and ‘Track me’, * Text-to-speech for voice guidance in car and pedestrian navigation, currently available for English and German. More languages will follow for the commercial release.
* Features currently not supported in this release: o English only for the application language: o Other languages will follow in the commercial release o No satellite and terrain maps (only in Walk mode) o Traffic updates options are only manual or timed, e.g. Every 5, 10, 20, 40 minutes.
as for your question, maybe you can try. You go to Log > Packet Data then find the received data. Take down the number. Use your Ovi maps... then exit and check again. You should be able to see how many gprs usage u use in kb.
1kb = 1cent

btw if firmware v31 (the complete one la.. not the beta release being leaked right now) doesn't come with enhanced homescreen/kinetic scrolling, I'm gonna change my phone.

lol, are both j-slade and you threatening nokia? which brand do you want to support then?
For me I've always liked Sony Ericsson better than Nokia. In fact I wanted to buy the Idou back then before I got my tube the problem is, the release date keep pushing back so I bought this first. After all, when its a smartphone, they are all Symbian so it makes no difference Nokia or otherwise.
I am not really looking forward to kinetic scrolling to be honest. I mean, how much time do I spend scrolling through my phone book anyways But I am just not happy with what Nokia did by releasing a substandard OS for the 5800. But anyways I'm still waiting for October for firmware 2.0 so I'll just wait for that.
