QUOTE(Hellscream @ Jan 21 2010, 05:23 PM) The yellow part isn't gold, mean's got chance that Katana is not chorme.... Hmm I think the katana part will be chromed (coz even NG version also is chromed, and standard MG Musha Gundam also got chromed blade). As for gold part, standard MG SF also have similar dull-colored gold part, thus not surprising if gold part on Gerbera Straight is dull colored also.

QUOTE(zieraq @ Jan 23 2010, 05:28 PM) I noticed bandai spamming the 'GN' up to the point of nonsense. beam saber also got the GN 'branding' altho its just regular beam saber without the gn particle emmision whatsoever. I bet inside the ship ptelomios got lot of gn branded item like gn helmet, gn shoes, gn gloves, gn microwave, gn selipar, gn stocking, gn nailclipper, gnkepala paip, gn toilet paper, gn dapur gas, gn speaker, gn television, gn cawan & pinggan, gn sudu & garpu & many other ridiculous gn-ized item. LAME Not really.. the prefix "GN" were used for weaponry that utilized GN particles. Basically, in 00, beam weaponry actually use GN particles as the source. Even the physical-only-looking sword or blade actually emits super high-density GN particles on the edges of its blade, granting the weapon ability to cut thru even E-carbon (supposedly among the hardest alloy in 00). That's y you can't see "GN" prefix used for non GN particle-based weaponry (like on Tierens, Flags) This post has been edited by Exiled_Gundam: Jan 23 2010, 05:53 PM

QUOTE(naith @ Jan 23 2010, 07:58 PM) I was wondering if anyone has seen this locally being sold as a set instead of having to tikam? http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN954004Hmm I think I saw Fantasy Toys selling them in set. Though since this is Fntasy Toys we're talking about, I'm not sure about whether those are bootleg or not

QUOTE(golbeza @ Jan 25 2010, 01:19 AM) just a hunch, so far the Unicorn Gundam got these scales: SD Scale HGUC 1/144 Scale MG 1/100 Scale HCM Pro Super HCM Pro i think there are lots of potential tat the Unicorn Gundam will actually come out as Perfect Grade If scales, aside from those u mentioned above, Unicorn Gundam also got GFF Metal Composite (this one got gatling gun included), in which the scale is 1/100 (Super HCM Pro is 1/144 btw). If non-scale, Unicorn also got Robot Spirits version.

QUOTE(Parody @ Jan 28 2010, 06:52 PM) [color=purple]Anyone knows why the MG Exia Trans-Am is so expensive at 5800yen? The 1/100 NG Exia Trans-Am was 5000yen... I mean, the 1/144 normal and Trans-Am kits were the same price. Why the sudden price leap when the size is different? Well as MG. it have more parts compared to the NG counterparts. And IIRC, MG Trans Am Exia comes with LED unit (red)

QUOTE(gaiachronicler @ Jan 30 2010, 01:43 PM) ooo nice rezel c1 plus colour gn-x 's drive design can fit the LED. but does it really doesnt come with LED??? on the other hand. bandai is up to their usual mischief. they selling red LED for GN-X drive for 700yen + shipping 120 yen Well not really, since not everyone will need the LED unit, and if the LED unit is included with the model kit, the price of the kit might be 700yen more expensive.

QUOTE(riku2replica @ Jan 30 2010, 03:20 PM) Help me clarify one thing. Does normal MG Exia has LED on the gn drive? Nope. Similar to GN-X, there's a form that you can use to order the LED unit from Bandai.

QUOTE(evanrue @ Jan 30 2010, 09:52 PM) regarding MG GN-X; must Bandai make every add-on available only in Japan? how to purchase the light up GN drive if cannot fill in a form that is in Japanese Hahah IMO they didn't have international shipping service yet (and most probably they're not confident enough yet to accept international order), moreso since they have distributor all over the world (they sell their product internationally using distributors instead). Pity though they didn't extend the runner order thingie to the distributor also (the LED unit actually follows same procedure as for ordering extra runners. Eh hmm then maybe can get thru HLJ?)

QUOTE(zieraq @ Feb 2 2010, 02:33 PM) I believe there will be no exia mg variation coz the ng like astrea & avalanche parts is swappable with the mg exia. maybe need some work but not that it require level 5 modelling skill. I think they already have in mind while designing the mg so it would be swappable. Imagine there is no ng have that many variation unless they have plan for the mg to be compatible. just my 2 cents tho. Then again looking at Bandai's previous releases... I believe Exia variation will make it to MG also.. last time I did read somewhere in NgeeKhiong that pointed the possibilities based on separation of the runner tree. See how many Strike variations become MG already.

Hmm maybe it's only me, but I do think HG 1/144 version of GN-X has better proportion than the MG counterpart...

QUOTE(Parody @ Feb 3 2010, 12:53 AM) [color=purple]I don't really see any major changes in the proportions though... ...but 1/144 HGs get my vote because they come with optional hands and it's more affordable to buy 8 to 10 of them and make your own Jinx Platoon in HG 1/144 version, the body looks longer

QUOTE(LagunaLoire @ Feb 3 2010, 11:20 PM) slightly higher yes. but definitely lower than MG unicorn + 1 koto mech base. same thing with 00 raiser and 00 raiser + GN sword III. Will you buy 00 raiser for the extra GN sword III? I think most will. Wallet bleeding soon. 00 Seven sword/G, MG Astray red kai... QQ Uhh 7500yen is 150% of the ver Ka's price you know (ver Ka one is 5000yen); 2500 yen can get u two Kotobukiya Mechanical Base already

QUOTE(Parody @ Feb 4 2010, 04:57 PM)
They already made a Jumbo Grade RX-78-2 easily at such a cheap price as, so this line of huge mechs could be made possible.
Hmm actually Bandai technology is quite advanced already.. they can actually enlarge a 1/144 kit easily to 1/100 (Overflag) or even 1/48 (RX-78-2 30th Anniversary ver). They will do some improvement and extra detailing if they enlarge the kit usually. This post has been edited by Exiled_Gundam: Feb 4 2010, 05:08 PM

QUOTE(Parody @ Feb 8 2010, 11:07 PM) You all made fun of MG ARF's feet, but you guys didn't say anything about these guys' feet.
Coz that one is not mobile suit (if that one is a mobile suit sure will got ppl make fun of it) That legs resembles Votoms abit... majority of MS (when not in underwater) usually walk/run, or straight terbang one; they rarely hover/slide on the ground like those Border Break mechas.

QUOTE(golbeza @ Feb 27 2010, 01:52 AM) while waiting, here's a review on the latest HGUC Zaku II F2: though the HGUC Geara Zulu is more uber awsm lovely, didnt expect it's taller than the Zaku II F2 more pictures here. Well Geara Zulu is a successor of Geara Doga, which is taller compared to pre-Zeta MSes
