Geara Zulu can become escort for Kyshatryia.
Added on December 8, 2009, 7:16 amwkyoong - well MG sinanju got provided those gold folded sticker and water decal to solved the Gold parts. But seriously to my opinion MG sinanju aren't for begininer level collector modeler... Those sophisticated articulated frame are very fragile and may break easily . QUOTE(legolas1118 @ Dec 8 2009, 01:25 PM) As for Koto's kits, they require cement or hobby glue and it's not purely snapfitting. That's what makes a Koto kit more advanced than a Bandai kit. The 'microscopic' parts of a Koto kit makes it even harder. Well from my point of view Bandai manufacture are the most sophisticate well plan and technology molding in the world. You guys should notice there is very less chance of error mistake and mostly perfect snap fit. Other than that Bandai QC are well outclass other molding manufacture such as Kotobukiya, wave and other which have quite a problem in plastic molding and fitting. From the design wise koto kits maybe more stylish than Bandai but their logic location of geometries molding design are bad (example: 2 parts snap together leaving a bit gap of seam line between the detail area.). one good side is their parts are mold separately thus make it easy to ABing but this also giving a it more expensive than bandai kits. QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Dec 9 2009, 09:34 AM) on the topic that banda'si kits are "easier" to assemble and therefore are "beginner's" kit. yup i argee with that the more easy and friendly user end product are, the more complicated and advance design the manufacturer are..i disagree on this too. the reason that bandai's kits are easier to assemble is simply because they designed it so well. it's just like how a car with auto transmission is "easier" to drive than a manual. does that means a car with auto transmission is for beginners? not necessarily. it boils down to thrills. yes, a koto kit is more thrilling to assemble, but design(as in construction) and QC wise, bandai wins. bandai kits are designed so well that there are very little room for errors, and that is even if you don't know japanese. so bandai's kit=beginner's kit? no. |

Well each individual have their own perspective of difficulty. Example a modeler will have a very different perspective over a model kit than just a collector modeler.
Example modelers have the experience to go through the basic of modeling skill and improve it. On the other hand a collector modeling just builds up a model kit with a minimal basic skill only. From this argument I think for starter modeler will always go for Bandai kit as it have the most friendly design with only minimal basic tool and skill to completed it where others require more than just that to completed with a OOB kits. QUOTE(Haneda @ Dec 10 2009, 07:15 AM) I usually extract ink from gundam markers and use paint brush to avoid marker strokes. Really defeats the purpose of having it as a marker well yup i also do the same for the gold or silver marker to paint the details parts only but question is does this lame pearl marker give a stoke brush when apply? Was it really a pearl effect or just name only for metalic pen ? perhaps the answer only know when it arrive . This post has been edited by chriswoo: Dec 10 2009, 07:39 AM |
