sorry im a noob here, but from what you all say the recast resin sounds like its pretty bad quality.
I know resin cast sets can last for a few castings before the set needs replacing thus making them expensive due to extremely low volumes.

So how bad are the recasts?
*
yes you are true about that... resin are expensive also because of the material used...
Recast are not original and it also depends on the "Recast brand"
Some may not fit perfectly and some doesn't fit at all thus more work(something like bendi gundam kits)...
I would say most recast will need extra work... smile.gif

IC... like Dreamcast also one of the brand .. right?? actually those brand r quite similar only depends of the quality of goods.because i checked those price r similar as well..

thanks
*
Dreamcast is actually a recast brand...
from what my friend told me, recast brands use originals(neograde,VP) and modified a little or more and then recast it to avoid trademarks or something like that from the big brands...
for the price, i am not sure whether they are similar anot.. smile.gif

Hey guys.. had asked this question elsewhere but no good solution yet..

May I know where can get the resin cast that can create resin kit?

I mean those solution/liquid that come with 2 bottles need to mix up by certain ratio and pour into cast to form the resin kit.

I've checked Multifilia but no stock. Anywhere else? Any gunpla shop or even hardware shop?

Would really appreciate the help very much! Thanks.
*
hmm... you could try ask tkting.. i know he do recast but don't know whether he sells them...

what chris said is true... resin kits are not for beginners, you'll need plenty of practices and experience in order to achieve a nice kit...

NeoGrade is a Korean (i think) company which produces full kits or conversion kits made from resin. This will require a lot more work and is usually for advanced modelers. Bandai's snap and fit assembly is more suited for novice modelers.

(Please DON'T bring up the debate about how Bandai's kits are actually not for beginners but rather user-friendly ok?)  whistling.gif

Pictures say a thousand words, so here are two pictures.
This is Bandai's:

Don't forget that the bandai is 144 and NG is 100 scale... so big difference there

if resin then neograde must be heavy rite?
*
Yes, not very heavy just slightly heavier than plastic...

I am just starting out and was wondering where can i get mr color paint in kuala lumpur?
*
Check the pinned threads for newbies...
AF-Hobby or TM@BTS(Times Machine@Berjaya Times Square) AFAIK
EDIT: You also can order form Tkting(Forumer) but he only has Gaia paints which i find it better and nicer than Mr hobby's. This is self preference. smile.gif
