So basically this is what I'll do:

1) Turn on psp (not standby)
2) Plug in USB to PSP and comp
3) Transfer files
4) Safely remove hardware from comp
5) Remove USB cable
6) Press X/O

Good way ?

May I ask, the new patch to play 5.50 and 6.00 games is workable for my psp 3000 with GEN A (FULL)?

Is this new patch a new CFW or what? I just bought my psp last week and it came with GEN A (FULL) and i just found out abt this today =.=

What you guys reckon I do?

BTW, I've looked at the sites Playboy21 posted, the steps seem too complicated for a newbie =.= lol. Can it cause my psp to brick?

so guys....I was playing GOW, and sometime after the first checkpoint (after the ladder climb and crossing over a single wood, which Kratos can fall), my game just hanged =.=

Then not long after, the psp just shuts off. I had to reload chickHen after than as well as the installer...

And i tried playing GOW again and it hanged at the same place...

What could be the prob? Im scared all my games are like that....(except Fifa 09 cause I have been playing it for 1 week already)

.............ok so I have a 8GB memory stick (fake) which i bought along with my psp 3000 last last week..... And i have been playing Fifa 09 and resistance:retribution and so far I have like 5 saved files and 50 mb free space....

And I was trying to play my FIFA 09 and i got some bad news =.=

"Load fail corrupt"? Wth?

Psp 3000 and psp go are kinda different in a way...

Both can play the same games but psp go doesnt have the UMD drive anymore, which means it cant play all UMD discs. Also u cant install CFW on pspgo yet (as of now). If u wanna play games on PSPgo, u need to download games from the playstation store.

Also, psp go is lighter than psp 3000 but it has a smaller screen which also means greater graphics since the games have same resolution.

Hope this helps. You should read around the forum or google the differences, you'll be amazed at what u can find

Just make sure u buy (if from Sony) a psp with OFW of 5.03 or below. If the OFW is anything higher than 5.03 for psp 3000, you will not be able to install CFW

Also what is the difference between GEN A and GEN D (if it is applicable to psp 3000)?

Will removing my memory stick from my psp cause the data in it to be corrupted?

Also, any ideas how i can transfer all my games from my memory stick/saved games to my computer without getting it corrupted?

Im scared when i transfer my ISO games from my memory stick to my pc, it gets corrupted in the process. Is there any ways u guys normally practice while transferring games/save data?
