QUOTE(King83 @ Sep 11 2009, 02:39 PM) same thing with ps3 man... and pc... Nope, you can't get the codec's installed. Like Lacus said, there are applications that allow users to view video/music/image formats that aren't supported by default on the PSP system. For instance, there are homebrew applications that allows the usage of PMP video which is both awesome in quality and small in size. There even is an application that allows users to view .avi format videos on their PSP's, but it runs really badly, and freezes quite a bit. Yea, if the PSP ever is to beat other devices like the iPod Touch, they definitely need to forget about adding additional background colors, and instead concentrate on getting the entertainment part of the system right.can't play unless install codec... psp and ps3 can install codec? |

Well yeap, but wouldn't it be much more comfortable if the PSP system actually allows us to use a few different kind of formats rather than the usual MP4? Then we would not have to convert EVERY SINGLE video into MP4 in order to view it on the PSP. I personally enjoy using my iPod Touch to watch movies and even listen to music. Transfers much faster, format isn't much of an issue and it's awesome PSP AVC Mp4 480*272 + Mp3 only ^.^ This post has been edited by Playboy21: Sep 11 2009, 03:09 PM |

As for video format, only can find AVI or RMVB through DL , i mean , most of the poeple upload these 2 video format. If higher quality, just watch in your LCD monitor liao.Ipod Touchscreen is smaller than psp, i prefer bigger screen ^.^ |

ugh waiting my psp to arrive, i hope seller send in time today, getting a psp3k cos of the better screen, then baru found out about the v3 mobo above so on so forth from the thread, wish someone would amend the first post to give out such info
if all the new version does not support 'panda' <--let's rephrase this then the only ones that we can get are those who are used ones, but then i don't see anyone posting about mobo version on their psp2k system so far and those 200x version mentioned, finally i understood it to be from which country.. i thot initially those are the version/mobo version, very confusing ah! well, i need to learn more here.. |
