QUOTE(okuribito @ Jun 5 2012, 04:36 PM) AFAIK only 2G but if just checking mail and non-urgent data, slower so what, it's really cheap! In actual use, during a long session it can cut on and off repeatedly, each time a new charge, so after 30 days it may not be the minimum calculation you estimated. You can do the same with U-Mobile 3G for 5 sen/MB, leave on all day, with careful setting of apps. Sometimes it will drop back to celcom 2G or drop out come on again (with another 5 sen charge). 111 This post has been edited by oneeleven: Jun 8 2012, 10:18 PM |

QUOTE(okuribito @ Jun 9 2012, 04:48 PM) Hmm.... could be Skype only runs video on the faster connection speeds. I can't remember whether I used Skype voice and it if worked when I had Tunetalk. OK on U-Mo. Can you watch streaming video using TT?111 |

QUOTE(kuai_chai @ Jun 30 2013, 09:01 PM) TT no 3G? Dunno, is it just my phone with ICS? Every time I switch to TT, I get a warning message that it has no 3G, asking if ok to proceed on 2G.O_O then what is TT data speed? but i read this: http://www.liciece.com/2013/03/20/tunetalk-prepaid-review/ so they should have 3G right? Despite that, I have had problems with U-Mob going dead near KLCC, so switching to TT saved me, for only 5 sen! (Yay, dual SIM) Good luck. |

Seems lately that a quick check of news and email by switching on prepaid data is costing several times more than before. Have they raised charges or changed something in the data system? Is the low cost 2.5G (E) still available?

QUOTE(sebnimh84 @ Aug 29 2014, 12:08 PM) I noticed that there's a 1 year validity service for an additional RM28 upon minimum top up of RM10. Yes, my greatest motivation to use TT. Do check website for latest.Has anybody tried this out? This would mean no need to top up for 1 year and still can use the credit that I have yes? |
