Does anyone know if Tunetalk allows port in from another owner? I would like to port my parent's number to my Tunetalk account. (I have been also using Tunetalk for close to a year now)

Hi guys, I ported my number from Unifi mobile to Tunetalk 2-3 months back and I am still experiencing an issue receiving OTP. I contacted Tunetalk multiple times over the period and they advised me to send "UPDATE" to 66300. However, it is still the same. Does anyone know how to update other SMS initiators to reflect the change of service provider?
Services that I have OTP issue with: Shopee, Instarem, Moneymatch, etc |

Is it the porting process that mess up stuff?same approach from them, send "UPDATE" to 66300, end up some working some not |

QUOTE(ngyinchew @ Jul 14 2019, 07:04 PM) Mnvo they provision network quite straight forward one, not sure if mnve network provision actually done by mnvo? Never work with mnve network team before I am second on issue during network provision. I texted "HELP" to a few 5 short code providers (68886, 63660, ...) and I am able to receive some response from there. Since UniFi mobile is using Celcom's 4G/3G network and Tunetalk is riding on Celcom, I wonder if there is an issue if you port to/from the same network provider. |

QUOTE(AnasM @ Oct 31 2020, 06:48 PM) 13100 charges the same as 1300 number (if I am not mistaken). If you would like to call their customer service, call 03-2771 7000 (not free, but it is 0.22sen/min AND it can count towards free call minutes if your plan come with it) instead OR live chat. This post has been edited by melvinchng: Nov 1 2020, 10:27 AM |

Tunetalk started to charge for calling 1800 numbers. Used to be free for the past few years.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ May 21 2022, 08:51 AM) So, it is true... calling any 1-800 toll-free numbers will deduct credit balance... I started calling 1800 number using XOX Voopee. Still free. But YMMV when it comes to call quality.9 seconds outgoing call rated at 18 sen... ![]() Me tested using the same 1-800 on Momok Kuning and Hotlink Panta*, the same 15 sen deduction on credit/account/balance despite of unlimited calls on both PRE-paid... Oh well, me will MNP-o b4 this Merdeka anyway... not worrying me so much...LOL... Conclusion: 1-800 is now like 1-300 ... #Ban_toll-free_numbers |
