I just help my friend buy Tunetalk new number, quite a good benefit free 3GB data (but s*** must be utilize within 7 days, otherwise gonna to burn).

However if within 7 days top up RM30, will the free data (7 days) will be extend date? I see somemore free again 4GB (within 15 days) if top up rm30. So the total free data period will 7 days + 15 days?

Can somebody advice for it?

You can wait till the 7th day and then only top-up RM30.

After top-up RM30, you should get one SMS advising you to send "FD30" to 2222. Only after you send this to 2222, the 15 days will start counting down..... If you never send to 2222, it won't trigger the count-down at all....
*
Ok, thanks for your advice.
But sms to 2222 got charges? Heard from my colleague who experience TT before that quite trickly got charge sms fee anytime whenever outgoing sms (you might b think just a few cent only blush.gif )

You mean 300MB?
*
When I check any free data or not, then saw still have data balance 300069 KB. So i think convert to MB should be 300mb, not 3GB. Am I right? ^^

I try to port in from digi to tune talk. I hv received my sim card with a temporary new number. Ask tune talk cs livechat regarding this but they ask me to call 0107777112. Somemore this is not a free line and they charge us as standard. Even sms to 2222 oso kena charge. Now i really wonder whether I should proceed with my mnp.Disappointed.
*
That is the most disappointed send sms to the 6 digit code (which is also TT system) also need charge. shakehead.gif
Previously got mnp to TT before, but saw "everything is charge here charge there".

I sent JOMTT to 2222 and managed to get the 1GB (valid until 11:59pm tonight).  It was a pain because the SIM card is usually sitting in my WiFi router.

Wah! Not free -- it deducted RM1 for sending the SMS.  💀@* GRRR
*
Haha, every sms you send out to the service code.. All will have charges.
So in simple, there is a blackhole so called "free"..

Hi, wanna to ask.. If I port in from other telco to Tunetalk (But I want Tune talk Buddies prepaid), is it eligible? OR compulsory must the plan Tunetalk Value Pack?

Another thing is if let say I get the Tunetalk buddies prepaid, then subscribe 1 year validity is it RM28/year? I saw the information if let say you are holding Tunetalk Value pack, it is 1 year RM100.. (which is really ridiculous... shakehead.gif )

Thank you.

The old TT Buddies has been replaced with TTVP... All new SIM cards (online or offline purchased or MNP) will be automatically under TTVP...

There is no path to revert back to Old TT Buddies...
*
Waa.. Force to join in TTVP plan?
Then no choice I need to withdraw my plan already..

I though customer have choice to choose which plan either TTVP or TTBP... doh.gif

Compare RM28 with RM35 1 year.
1 month purchase between 2.34 with 2.92.

That's better way rather than take RM100/year validity.. laugh.gif

QUOTE(korn @ Aug 27 2019, 10:26 AM)
Up to your usage and needs :-) RM 35 is cheap to keep a number idle doing nothing - add any packages anytime when needed.

Tune Talk VALUE Prepaid can switch to the Cun Plan via the app, redeem points.

Something fishy and confusing for the validity plan..
I'm lost the meaning. Can somebody can explain that? rclxub.gif

By the way if switch to Cun plan, then cannot go back to VALUE prepaid anymore.
Am I right?

Both Value and Cun pack have FBi, 64kbps 10GB per month - as long the no remain in 'Active' state. If you buy the RM 35 validity, bye2 basic data LOL

No more turning back after switching to Cun, stuck there as always.
*
That means once I purchase this RM35 validity, then accidentally turn on data and become PPU? Or totally no data connections since you say no more basic data?

But what if I purchase those weekly/daily/monthly data plan, that one not affect right?

Hi guy, how the tunetalk top up validity work?
If let say I top up RM10 (validity 11 days), and then purchase monthly RM10 data plan.

So after 11 days, can I still continue use the data plan?

Thanks a lot.

Still not attractive enuff for me to switch to TTV/TTC plan... Gonna stick to TTB for its +VIBE15 package plus RM28 one-year validity price...
*
The old plan buddies is the best plan already compare the new TTV/TTC.
7 buck different to purchase the 1 year validity.

I just not early to port in my number to TT before the TTV launch..
So now everything is TTC plan already..

TTVP is the best plan... I have been using for 140days (since I had RM140 in my balance) and although none of that went to TT, I get to use 10GB+ every month for nothing.

QUOTE(ILV @ Aug 29 2019, 01:15 PM)
Thank you for your time and suggestion.
This is really useful to me and appreciate it much.

Yup, my usage is low, just want to keep the number active (occasionally make phone call but very seldom) and have internet connection all the time.
*
Eventually another method if top up RM100, then your validity will extend 100 days (without purchase the validity 1 year)
But if your validity almost due (because of top up RM100 wanna expired), then you can apply to purchase the validity.

That means you enjoy 1 year + 3 months plus a bit. laugh.gif

Rm10 5gb is for 365 days, not monthly. But of course they have monthly data pass as well, depending on your parents need. Also do remember to budget some amount for calls. Can't remember how much per minute.
Yes, The validity option still available for my Epik Plus plan. Rm35 for 365 days
*
Ok, thanks for your information.
I plan to switch from my xox number to another telco which better pricing of the validity.

My another number already utilize for Hotlink, so far so good the validity.
Just need another backup to park my number which want to use celcom network in case the maxis line got issued.

Meanwhile, your this Epik Plus plan for RM35 validity. Is that plan is PPU data usage? OR totally no connections even you turn on the data plan? Sometimes need to be caution because nowadays phone behind got running some data usage although your data is off. It's especially last time I kena due to the VOLTE setting, been charges few cent few cent (total up few ringgit) gone.. doh.gif
