haha. y i feel like u sound abit sarcastic brows.gif

theres actually a few reasons :

1 - dealer never heard of TuneTalk before.
2 - my friend who works @ DiGi and UMobile both tried porting my TuneTalk number out but operation failed.
3 - i asked OCS. they say can port out @ summit TuneTalk dealer which is a shop in summit. went there, they told me : if wan to port to Maxis/DiGi, have to go to Maxis/DiGi. (makes sense)

the OCS claims we can port out. but apparently its not available. nvm. sim expires @ october i think. somewhere there. still got 1 month. hope something is done to allow porting out to other telcos. smile.gif

btw i have 2 questions

1. After we registered received email from Tunetalk then got the simpack then what is the time period they give us to activate it before they terminate it? or they won't?

2. Then, after we activate the number, we can stay idle for how long before they terminate the number? or they won't?

Thanks

i think once u collect sim card that's when ur sim is activated. cos apparently once inserted into mobile can use d.. so i guess it's that way. and about the second i think first time activation gives us 1 mnth validity.

Top Up credits have different expiry periods. Here is table to explain the different values and expiry period for each value.

If you forget to top up in the required period, your account becomes inactive. You won't be able to make or receive callsexcept for calls to usand you'll lose the money in your account.

If you don't top up for another 60 days continuously, your service will be disconnected : which means that you will lose your number and would have to get a new SIM pack. No one wants that to happen. That's why we'll send you text messages on your phone to tell you your account is running low on Top Up.

When you top up before your credit expires:

* Your previous balance is added to the new Top Up value

* The later expiry date is valid for the entire amount

Not possible to port out at the moment because MCMC's directive for MNP does not (yet) cover them...that's what a DiGi CSR told me.

Wah so early using you all want to port out already ka? Me, I gave up when two shops they list as their distributors have never even heard of Tunetalk when I went there to claim my SIM...

Yeah. Gone. What to do. I think Tunetalk bungled big time. I went to two shops which tunetalk states as its authorised distributor...neither have even heard of Tunetalk!

because they want to abuse it
Some want to resell to make profit like buy rm10 sell RM1000 those kind. Then those ppl will book using their friends and family buy 10 to 20 numbers and reserve
