current speed shows 276.3KBps which means around 2208kbps...average speed shows 126.3KBps which means around 1010.4Kbps...from diz result i can say speedtest is the most accurate...



wonder how i manage to get HSDPA speed coz my area only got UMTS signal (1-3bars out of 5bars) wif basic package 384Kbps summore...modem also shows blue color which indicate UMTS signal...HSDPA is on green color ... any explanation on diz?

no...i got a very very gud connection on similar package to d68-->



celcom are very generous to giv me such a gud speed... btw hav u check yr usage for diz month?

as for the modem any diff in between Vodafon and Hua Wei 's

cause Vodafon they are selling 249 , while Hua Wei some are selling 200

basically it is da same in terms of specification...juz like comparing SE n nokia...

if u test da bw got like 1.0Mbps+ then while browsing oso got until that level?

coz mine using d68 and while test got around 300kbps but while browsing, the speed just play around 10-20kbps up n down.. i monitor using the graph in mobile connect software...

if using IDM got higher but not reach 300kbps oso...

your subcription d68 was 3g.The max can download was 20 ~ 30 kbps.Like me ,i paid 98.Which mean hdspa,max get 100~ 350 kbps download.Sometimes download fast and not and totaly depend on location.3g only max 384 kbps

ableze_joepardy,actually what alien3d mentioning is yr d68 can go up to 384kbps (48kBps)..while d98 max is up to 3.6Mbps ( 450kBps)... yr speed is depends on what page u r loading...even if u got 3.6Mbps doesn't means yr browser wil hit 3.6Mbps while loading the page...yr speed will reach maximum when u downloading a file from a site...but stil it depends on the server who manage yr transfer...it is hard to achieve a full speed all way around...all diz things may vary...

The only time I got good speed only when I'm downloading something from the internet. When I'm not downloading anything the speed drop down tremendously.

my area can get umts always, and sometimes hsdpa, but the speed is unbearable, esp at night it is even worst. maybe it's my area congested..

wow, so fast even the 2nd tower alredy stood up behind everrise. i believe that horrific time will come once again and force celcom to build another tower

that time when the tower was up, the speed was nice. just lately the symptom came back again...

how to check your modem/area can received umts speed?

how come u all can get such good speed on d98 plan..i'm using a sub line from my phone while subscribing to d98 and my speedtest shows i barely reach the speed of d68...btw i use my broadband in bukit jalil area

hurm..not very clear wif yr question actually...sorry my bad... i blieve u wan to ask about how to check coverage availability isn't it? in order to check UMTS coverage u can dial *118#(for Xpax,UOX,SOX) *119# (blue) select "broadband" select "check coverage" select "coverage at present location". hope it will help..
