The chances of getting an IPO subscription is significantly higher compared to those unfortunate souls who send in their ballots and all... hoping to get some action.

Example:
IPO -Maxis

Principal Adviser - CIMB

Private Banking - CIMB

Result - a higher chance of subscription.

Unfortunately Private Banking is only limited to "high networth" ppl.

Why private banking some ask?
1. subscription to Bonds (especially delicious Corporate Bonds)
2. foreign bonds (even more exciting)
3. unit trust/structured product bla bla...
