Actuallly it is quite risky when market sentiment is bad time.

See today, MSport goes reverse gear, one will be glad never get the IPO.

IPO game no longer is a must gain game.

Just wonder why we get such a wide window to list IPO; in Singapore, today ballot tomorrow can list liao; in Malaysia it takes more than 1 week, durian can turn to lemon in a week time tongue.gif

Thinking of applying this, based on the fundamental data, the valuation seems ok to me and the business actually interesting for me... tongue.gif

bad time to list

real life example - today's china IPO - MSPORTS (5150)

Opening: 0.850
Highest : 0.890
Lowest : 0.765
Closing : 0.765

falling 10% on its first day.

I would prefer to wait for the company to be listed for at least 5 years, so that I would know the average PE and then buy below the average PE. This will ensure that I don't pay too high the price for the stock ;-) But of course, PE is not the only evalutaion data for a stock.
