I am also trying to e-IPO via maybank2u but it is not shown in the list how come?

why this two ipo , homeritz and JCY do not have alocate PLACEMENT TO BUMIPUTERA INVESTORS ?
normally the mainboard new listed will have alocate share for bumiputra ipo apply...

JYC for public offer is under 1 bundle only,
the probablity for bumi or non-bumi is the same

called MIMB also, their service not so good,
staff poor of product knowledge, just keep passing my call, give no answer...
homeritz got 20m share private placement for bumi, but is private placement...
probably no alocated PUBLIC OFFER for bumi unit also...

You already want to guess what is the closing price on the first day ar?

Please correct if I am wrong, but among all the IPO that got listed last year, only Maxis is now above the IPO price.

The way I observe it, only 1 - 2 hour green. In fact very green. Probably for the MD and the VIPs in the Bursa office to see see show show. Check out the our local TV prime time news, each time they have a new IPO where they look and point into the large screen. Then you're on your own and "good luck".

MIH is pleased to announce that the JCY International Berhad ("JCY") Retail Offering of its IPO under which 40,898,000 shares were made available for application by the Malaysian Public has been oversubscribed and balloting of successful applications was conducted this morning.

A total of 17,311 applications for 184,752,900 shares were received from the Malaysian Public, representing an oversubscription rate of 3.52 times. All Notices of Allotment for these shares will be mailed to successful applicants on or before February 24, 2010.

Last year, 10 out of 14 IPO closed higher in the first day. 4 were in negative.

MIDF, the one I said I mistakenly apply for homeritz shares.
Either I call MIDF or maybank for this.

Most IPO 'underwater' nowadays.

No point applying until market sentiment has really changed. (my view only)

IPO no longer like last time out aka those being alloted like hit 4D.

Need to change mindset, applying IPO is not a "fast gain money route", instead only apply if really interested and view the company has good prospect.
