Like to find out from those who done private placement before. If I do private placement and don't kena, will they hold the $ till after public IPO or release immediately. If they release the $, will I get the $ in time to do the public IPO again before closing date? Finally why do I need to go to sumpah? Sorry noob questions, but old dogs need to learn some new tricks.

Malaysia's Khazanah to list $1.5 bln healthcare IPO

UALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Reuters) - The planned $1.5 billion listing of Malaysia's Integrated Healthcare Holdings (IHH) is expected to debut on the Malaysian and Singapore bourses by the end of July, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters.
The dual listing would be the fourth-biggest initial public offering (IPO) in the city state's history and Malaysia's second-largest this year after the planned listing of Malaysian plantation group Felda Global Venture Holdings.
Southeast Asia has seen a burst of IPOs and deals since the start of the year, as the region's growth has fueled investor interest and stock values.
IHH, the healthcare arm of Malaysia's state investor Khazanah Nasional, has started to invite approved "Bumiputra" investors to submit expressions of interest in subscribing for its shares, according to the website of Malaysia's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (Miti).
Bumiputra, meaning "sons of the soil" in the Malay language, refers to majority ethnic Malays and other indigenous people in the country who benefit from a decades-old affirmative action policy that favours them in housing, education and business.
Premarketing is currently being held for a second tranche that will be open to institutional and other investors.
Some 360 million "Bumiputra" shares are being offered to wealthy investors, according to Miti's website, although it did not give the details of the total number of shares to be offered.
The closing date to apply for the "Bumiputra" tranche is June 5, the website said.
The IPO prospectus would be launched in early July and the indicative price of the shares for "Bumipatra" investors would be known on June 1, one of the sources said.
The IPO will be one of the first after elections in Malaysia that are widely expected to be held in June or July. Analysts and investment bankers have said Malaysia's IPO pipeline has slowed ahead of the poll because of concerns of market volatility.
IHH's assets include Turkish hospital group Acibadem AS , Singapore's Parkway Holdings, India's Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd and Malaysia-based Pantai Hospitals and International Medical University.
Khazanah officials were not immediately available for comment. Japan's Mitsui & Co Ltd owns a 26.6 percent stake in IHH, Dubai-based Abraaj Capital holds 7.1 percent and Acibadem chief Mehmet Ali Aydinlar 4.2 percent. Khazanah owns the remaining 62.1 percent.
Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank AG and CIMB are joint global coordinators and book runners for the deal. Goldman Sachs, DBS and Credit Suisse are joint bookrunners, a source told Reuters in December.

A question here.
Let say u successfully get IPO through maybank. If u have 2 trust acc (e.g. itrade & ecm), how they're going to credit to ur trust account? They will inform u which trust account u prefer ?

The moment u apply for this ipo u will be asked to choose which trading account for this ipo u wanna use.

I am not guru.
Most likely yes, if you didn't went into reserve list or met some technical issue.
You can always wait until the last day (25th) and see, if Felda still no way to be seen, then quite safe, if Felda issue the prospectus liao, then can read and count.

It depends on 3 things
a) balloting date which in GAS MY case is 29/05/12
b) how fast can the bank return your $, which if by ATM or online banking normally is 1-2 days after balloting if no technical delay.

Hence if Felda (which has not annouced) does announced & for example has a closing date on 01/06/2012. You should make it just in time.

c) If you sooooooooooooooo lucky until ALL that you have applied for GAS MY kena. You may not have extra $ for Felda. But highly unlikely in the case of GAS MY.

I am also doing the same with Pestech IPO & Gas MY, timing it. But now concern is if Pestech subscription is not too high & I actually kena a lot of it, that would leave me with much lesser $ for GAS MY. Its a catch 22, but I still think Pestech can get more than 10x over subscription at least for the non-bumi public portion.
