I strongly disapprove of this move. This was supposed to be free.

The initial concept when I went to Eurogamer was that you would be ALLOWED to change anytime but if you did you could not participate in WvWvW that week and you could not gain the benefits of that world (so you can't hop to the winning world) and you would lose all time-associated benefits of having stayed in your world.

That is sufficient enough a deterrent to stop people from bandwagoning worlds while encouraging players to choose a home world to settle in and giving them the freedom of changing to visit friends.


Of course they did mention something about guesting? That may be the concept implemented and that won't be so bad if that's the case

Edit: Yes, guesting is that feature and I'm content. Sorry for jumping the gun. Makes sense now.
