JACKSON STARS SOLOIST ARCHTOP



I've decided to sell a few of my MIJ guitars to fund for a Jackson Custom Shop. So unfortunately for me (very lucky for you) this Jackson Stars will be one of it. FYI, Jackson Stars are made in Japan by the guys that built Caparisons many years ago and are only for the domestic Japan market. The brand is already discontinued and many Jackson enthusiast speaks highly of the brand until today. The built quality, playability and craftmanships are top-notch. This is an even more special guitar considering it's an archtop soloist, hence the name ASL. They don't usually pop by for sale too often. Jackson website still has the Jackson Stars catalog but this model is no where to be found in it. It is most likely a special order model or a one time run for a local dealer. Here's the specs:

-Body: Acrhed Alder
-Scale: 648mm 24 fret
-Neck: Maple Neck Thru
-Fingerboard: Rosewood with MOP Sharkfin Inlays
-Bridge: Gotoh TuneOMatic String Thru Body
-Pickups: EMG 81 & EMG 85
-Controls: One Volume, One Tone, 3 way selector
Hardware: Gold

Some acronyms to identify a Jackson Stars model:
A=Archtop
SL=Soloist Style Body
J2=Series and mostly made of Alder Body
B= Fixed Bridge
E= EMG pickups equipped

Guitar comes with a gigbag only. I've sold the hardcase. If you don't need the gigbag, I can provide a small discount. This is really a beautiful guitar. I'd keep it if I can but I guessed I should invest in just one guitar that I play more often rather than a bunch that is kept in the closet all the time. Price is slightly negotiable for serious buyers.
