I heard many BlackBerry owners from Celcom and Maxis complained that it takes two months to replace small items like trackball, keypad or some other stuffs cause they need to send it to RIM Canada.

I heard that this guy by the name of Berry Asia who is based in KL could do it for you on the spot. I send my blackberry bold for a track ball replacement and he fixed it for me on the spot in less than ten minutes. He also sell acessories like leather holster, battery, etc. He is also able to change your bezel to any colour you like. Great service

Here is his contact:

Few ppl here also got service blackberry lah..

But bear in mind, those ppl are not authorised service technician so your warranty will be woid unless u bought AP or 2nd hand blackberry lor.

Why Maxis/Celcom take so long?
Becoz Maxis (actually they appointed a local 3rd party company named Wide Solution Sdn Bhd, Celcom i duno) will send the phone to US/UK for servicing.
That is why it takes 1-2 months to get back.

But sometimes they might just give u a replacement (not loan unit) unit instead so u dont need to wait for repair.

mine is ok since it is a company unit and not under warranty anymore. BTW, Maxis charge us a lot of money for a simple replacement.

This is the dumbest form of self advertisement that I have ever seen or did you forget to change your duplicate account? You are Berry Asia. Look at your signature. How can you 'heard of a guy who is actually yourself'? I've also detected multiple dupes and seems like you forgot to change your login before posting this ad.

And he just removed his berryasia link from his signature. Too bad I have it on screenshot. Well, I guess there is nothing more to discuss here. Topic closed.
