I can still remember back in 60, BRD is a nightmare , the size of the instance, the number of bosses... , but the chain quest is EPIC!! i do hope blizz put the quest back...

Manage to kill her (10m) a few times yesterday - until Blizzard hotfix the dungeon (YES, you could reset the instance)

Same as the old Ony - 3 phases
1) Ground - tank and spank at the north part of the room, everyone should be at her sides, away from the frontal breath and tail lash
2) Fly - whelps many whelps, this is where the MT and OT gather them pesky whelps from the sides and bring them to the middle to be AOE. There is a new twist, an Onyxia Guardian will come from the south (where the raid runned in). All melee dps should kill it with the OT, note dont stand infront of the OG as it has a nasty cleave.
3) Grounded - MT takes the landed beast back to the north spot of the cave. If the OG is about, OT need to bring it to the north (not so near the raid) to be killed. Same skills as before, with additional Fear and Lava. Kill all the adds and keep the MT topped up. Same as phase 1, tank and spank for epic loots.

my big question: HAS THE MOUNT BEING DROPPED??

i did an attempt with a pug raid yesterday, got her to phase3 and around 15% then we wiped and the raid called.

the whelps had like 189k hp... quite hard to die unless all brought to the middle for massive AOE... I played my mage (arcane spec), thruout the first phase my manabar was still good, once the whelps came out, damn i blizzard till OOM because the OT didnt bring the whelps to the centre area.

the fight is pretty much the same, except for the below:
1) guardians join the fight and OT got to tank it, if not killed another one joins in and you will accumulate a lot later
2) whelps had like 189k hp, u cannot split them and aoe them outside their cave. the OT have to bring them to middle where everyone focus their AOE on the whelps. The sooner you down the whelps, the sooner the range can DPS ony in the air and the rest of melee handle the guardians
3) once p3 just a tank and spank and avoiding being feared into caves.

some of my guildies have pugged the 10m and 25m and got the achievement for downing ony in under 5mins...

Yeah... it is hard if people havent done the fight before and the LACK of raid/situation awareness

when the whelps mass spawn during p2 i dc-ed lol...
turns out some1 changed my ip fro 60.48 to 115.133...
in that dc, i died to the damn breath...

after changing to my usual ip, manage to stay online (except 1 dc when housemate open a blog win tonnes of pic!)

downing onyxia in both 25 and 10 men...in 25 at phase 3 just only 5 person alive 1 tank 2 healer and 2 dpser....in also same in 10 men..luckily ony doesnt hit hard in phase 3
