Hi Alantch, oh, really, that sound like a good way, thanks for sharing. How about the shipping? usually they ship without insurance and no signature required, right?

Shipping via USPS 1st class international airmail is actually pretty cheap. For those agreeable, they'll ship international for a few extra dollars. Most do not want to ship international due to the long queues at their local PO and filling up forms. Being in the big cities that they are in, this normally means a lot of time and effort to ship internationally. Another way is to get to know one of them who can help reship the light to you - and this is the way I do it for those that do not ship to this side of the world. For more expensive stuff, it's preferable to use EMS - costs more but trackable. HTH.

Is the U2 the Lux V version? Can the body accept 18650 cells?
$140 is a little high for this version, but you may disagree. IIRC, I've seen the Lux V's sold for $120. $140 for new version with Seoul LED a good price, but these cannot accommodate 18650 cells.

old newspaper, there's a SF M6 in pretty good condition going for $250 over in CPFMP. Worth considering since it's at the limit of your budget. Shipping should be about $10 +- a couple of dollars by inter 1st class airmail. Believe me, once you've handled an M6, nothing else comes close.

So far interested buddies are :

surefire v LED
damonlbs
MiniMoke2927
Count in me as interested atm. It'll depend on the price for me.

QUOTE(Philightsophy @ Nov 2 2009, 01:26 PM)
Hi guys,

I have a friend who is selling some of his stuffs. I will list them below:

1) SureFire 6P Nitrolon Black (yes, Nitrolon). USD50
2) SureFire 9P Nitrolon Black. USD70
3) Dereelight MC-E drop-in. USD50
4) Nitecore EX10. USD50

All are in good condition with no scratches smile.gif
I don't think there was ever a 6P Nitrolon from SF. It's either a G2 with an alu bezel or 6P alu body with a nitrolon bezel. But 6P nitrolon, never heard or come across / seen one.

I'd also be interested in one of the Xeno C2 clones. Can we find out the price?

Hey guys,

I have 10pcs of CR123 primaries to get rid off - too many laying around unused. I mainly use rechargeables now for all my lights except my A2 and L1. Brand is Battery Station (x7) and Goldston (x3). The Battery Station ones have the marking '0306' on the -ve end - I take that to mean it was manufactured Mar '06 - so it is till within it's shelf life of 10 yrs (approx). No idea on the Goldstons though - but I got them sometime last year.

Price? USD10 cash PP.
Shipping is extra via PosLaju to anywhere in Msia which should be within RM10. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks.

Yes the HID flashlight is always the BEST if price is not a consideration.
Wondering if someone ever bring along a HID for the next gathering?  drool.gif
*

Indeed, there is nothing to compare to an HID in terms of throw and runtime. Incands do have very good throws too, but suffers from shorter runtimes comparatively. Too bad I'm on this side of the pond, else I can bring my mini HID for you all to check out.

Alantch,

is that m6 for sale?
Not at the moment ... if I'm able to find another Megalennium body (that uses 3x18650 vs 3x17670 for the M6), I may consider selling it off. When that happens, I'll surely check here with you guys first before opening it to the world.

QUOTE(pseudoblue @ Nov 4 2009, 11:22 AM)
Wow drool.gif ... that's a nicely mod Mag 2D? Very nice battery carrier too. And it throws better than the M6? Would like to get my hands on both, cool.  thumbup.gif
I haven't fired it up in quite a while, so perhaps I'll do so in the next few days, time permitting. I remembered the first time I turned it on after dark in my garden, I didn't know where to point it as it got so bright that I thought I'd surely disturb or upset the neighbours. They'd have thought WTH is that light smile.gif Of course I can bring it the next time I go KL, if the schedule permits and if you guys are raring for another meet then.

I bought it for more then the sale price, if you factor in the EMS shipping sweat.gif For those interested, a Spore CPF member have one in black for sale at the moment.

I almost jumped on this but decided to go with a 26W HID as I already have the Jil Lite Eznite 10W HID.  There were 2 3x18650 Megalennium bodies that went on sale in CPF the past few weeks and I manage to snag one.  Just keep an eye out as there maybe more on sale.
*

Lazyboy, your Eznite, is it using primary batts or the rechargeable pack? I read the output is fantastic due to it's superior reflector (made by Polarion) and the fact that you can adjust focus as well. And which 26W HID is that you got? Do tell more or even better, some pics!

Also used to have the XLS sheet thingy when I first started, but not anymore as now my 'collection' has settled around 10-14 pieces at any one time. So for me to have a new toy, an old one must go sad.gif Some of you guys really need the XLS sheet as I can see your collections growing!

Hey guys I have a 6PDL and wanna make it into rechargeable.

I have read through cpf but i cant seem to find the best option between the 2 options.

Option 1 = 2xAWRC123
Option 2 = 1xAW17670

Wat is the apparent difference??
*

Option 1 will most likely fry your LED module as they're designed for 6V using 2xCR123. Option 2 is workable, but will result in lower output due to lower voltage. Another option is to sell the P60L module and get a Malkoff M30 for 1 Li-ion cell (16340, 17670 or 18650) or the M60 for 2 Li-ions or 3 CR123 primaries. Much higher output from either of these 2 modules compared to the P60L. Hope this helps.

My bad - yes it's a 9V module. So can run on 2 Li-ions.

Haha, actually he is interested in 1 UV light and an E2DL...  nod.gif

There were a couple of newish E2DLs that sold for $85 each in CPFMP. Keep a constant eye there ... deals like that crop up from time to time. What's your friend into with the UV light? Money scanning or scorpion hunting? sweat.gif Inova used to have a UV model - the X5. You can find some UV discussions in CPF by using the search function there.
