Good Morning Everyone.

I'm looking for the Original Dry TournaGrip & basket for tennis ball. I'm thinking of getting them both this afternoon during lunch hour. I'm in tight schedule so it would be great to get them both at one shop.

I know Sportprises79 in Bangsar sells the TournaGrip. But not sure about the basket.

Questions:
Does HockEng in Bangi sells TournaGrip or basket for tennis ball?
Does Sportprises79 in Bangsar sells basket for tennis ball?
Anyone could recommend any shops that sells both of these items?
Does anyone has their contact number?

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advanced. biggrin.gif

Hehehe. The MBPJ guy told me that they might want to fix the lighting there. So probably there won't be much changes to be noticed.

The courts there are usually fully booked at Friday nights. Thursday nights is usually half full. Not sure at other days or at day time.

Those courts in Kelana Jaya, are still damn nice to whack. I'd say, of all of MBPJ courts I've played, Kelana Jaya is the best. thumbup.gif

QUOTE(zdepth @ Sep 10 2009, 08:22 PM)
PRC Definition

PRC is a common acronym among sex solicitors on the internet. It is primarily used by people in Malaysia & Singapore. Although a direct acronym translation would be People's Republic of China, for these sex solicitors it actually stands for prostitutes/hookers from China ie. Chinese women. The PRC branding started off on internet sex forums & can be seen used vastly across the board on malaysian/singaporean sex forums like the ones below:

www.mamakspecial.com
www.sammyboyforum.com
www.internationalsexguide.info/forum

On our lowyat tennis forum, you can see it being used as well, notably by users like pooh88, praetorian, sophisticatedren, angel-ice & dozen of others. So now that you understand the meaning of it, you will also know that this forum is filled with sex solicitors who are into tennis as well. So next time when you're having a friendly match with them, be sure not to do high 5s or chest bumps à la bryan brothers (oh no no!) if you dont wanna catch any contagious STD or HIV virus. Although this is totally unrelated to this tennis forum, I hope you can now have a better understanding on the users & their moral behaviour here. For more extensive study and/or indulgence into this subject, you can PM the mentioned experts here. Dont PM me as I'm just a theory provider and not into hookers soliciting, thank you.

Ahh.. I see. At first I really thought it was a racket name or something (ie. POG, APDC or PDGT) and really can't figure out what the heck is PRC (I was thinking it must be a Prince blink.gif ). But I understand it now. Hehe. Thank you Z.

Bro,

U think logically.
Why racquet got diff weight ?
Pls explain to me !!! nod.gif
Only newbie will think put weight can make so much different  shocking.gif
*
Pooh Sir,
Different rackets has different weight, and it might also has different stiffness, swingweight, balance point and other criteria. So two different racket with same weight would might not play the same. Two same racket, with different criteria would also might not play the same.

I do think that most pro's use lead tape on their rackets. Sampras, Roddick, Sabatini, etc. So I do think lead tape does make a different.

Bro,

Some pro's racquet are specially made for them to suit their game. nod.gif
Maybe those racquets u mentioned is just the normal type of racquet u can get it everywhere. hmm.gif
Even Federer's racquet is diff from what the shop is selling.correct me if i wrong. whistling.gif
*
Yes Sir I agree with you. There are some Pros who are using customized rackets straight from the factory. Some use a stock racket with personal customization and some, use an different racket with a different paintjob.

Take Pete Sampras for example. He used to play with legendary Wilson Pro Staff Original a.k.a St. Vincent. He played with this racket his whole professional career. Unlike some Pro's who's claimed to have change their rackets like every two years or so but actually using a same racket under different paintjob.. hmm.gif

http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/51680480/AFP

So if you look at those photos, you may clearly see that Pistol Pete does use lead tape on his racket at 3 & 9 o'clock. Why you may ask? Different weight, balance point, swingweight, etc might give you a different results.

For my personal opinion i wouldn't advise normal player add lead tape.
Feel very awkward when u hit ground stroke.
For service might help a bit becos the head a bit heavier.
Anyway kokolomondo when can i have a game with u  brows.gif
*
Hehe. Actually, I myself have never tried using lead tape. I use my rackets just as it is. But I do think there's no harm in experimenting, tweaking your equipments as long as you're happy with it. biggrin.gif

Pooh Sir, lepas Hari Raya la. But I usually available at night on weekdays. How?

QUOTE(grinner @ Sep 30 2009, 11:28 AM)
...on another topic...

...I was reading a very interesting discussion yesterday, about how this player commented that he uses one face of the racquet when hitting backhand and the other for forehands, which there were two camps for and against (as usual)...

...so i just wanted to ask here, do you favour a particular face for each shot, or do you hit regardless, or even more unusual (i think) like me where I hit both forehands and backhand with only one face of the racquet(!)... which other people also had noticed, since when they check my racquet, only one side of the stringbed has marks while the other side is almost untouched... (I had not noticed that until it was pointed out)

...so, share your experience here and make me feel less like a freak biggrin.gif
*
Hmmm.. Good observation. I never really notice which side of the racket I hit the most. And I don't think it'll give much difference on which side you're hitting, right?

QUOTE(Yan @ Sep 30 2009, 11:40 AM)
doesn't this has to do with your grip ? i mean my own personal observation, if you are using for e.g. full western grip. you'll be hitting on the same side of the string bed on your forehands and your backhands. but if you are using an eastern grip and your bh is a backhand eastern ...you'll be hitting a diff side of the racq each time for ur FH & BH ...  i don't think you "consciously" think about which side A or B of the racq u r using. mostly is from the grip choice that you play with ...
*
Does grip really determine which side of the racket you hit? I thought with the same grip, you could hit with either side.
