"* I have not tried to withdraw from Paypal to my card but I’ll be happy to hear your comments if you did try. Remember that Paypal charges USD5 per withdrawal."

So.. we can only PAY for stuff online but cannot receive payment?

That is so unfair!

If you use PayPal(maybank debit card linked) to purchase online in USD, it will directly withdraw from your maybank account. There is no need to transfer money into PayPal at first. But got limit of RM500, you must first go to atm, to increase your debit card limit if you plan to use more. Initially it will withdraw at higher rate of 3.65(my rate 2 months ago), but after few days will credit back into your account some amount in your online maybank statement, no idea why is it like that.

Yes. I have done it to pay something which is over USD300, but can't at first, then I find out need to lift the limit at atm machine 1st coz my transaction over RM500. Then it's ok. First they deducted at rate 3.65, after few days some amount credit back and recalculate is around 3.62.

i think the risky part is that if you're debit card is also your savings account, then the loss of the card could be devastating when the person go use your card for purchase.

remember, 99% of the cashiers do not check the signature behind the card. smile.gif
