Already warned you guys about General Bear campaign since last week.

Shanghai and Dow are so overbought.
Even the news that Japan that is coming out of recession means nothing now.

This week is carnage time,  clawing and slashing time!!  rclxms.gif

Anyone mind to share why Bstead got attention of some sifus here ? Is it because:
1)the interim report is coming soon and possibility of dividend
2)the current rights issue pulled down the price
3)cheap (in terms of PE)
4)the bstead-or mentioned by lklatmy (is it a warrant ?)
5)other reason...

thank you wub.gif brows.gif

thanks for all the feedback...

Bstead's 1st quarter earning droped significantly though, from usual 20+ cents to 9cents... not being pessimist but i think this year's PER and Div may be affected...

me choosing a plantation stock too, so far BKawan and Bstead seems quite good.
Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera is the major shareholder of Bstead...

hope can squeeze enough money to buy some ... doh.gif
and need to set aside some for taiko Maxis...

Hi there why is sealink so popular among many of you guys here?  Any big positive news coming from sealink?

Added on August 18, 2009, 11:39 am
Correct me if I am wrong, is it because a lot of us follow The Edge weekly very closely?  For the past few months, I noticed that the counter suggested by The Edge weekly tends to trend upwards the immediate Monday that follows.  Like last week, they recommended RCECap and I noticed that it has becomes quite active since Monday.

sealink.. im hoping for big positive news biggrin.gif.. if no news means im to holland already...

i read the edge but i dont follow closely, usually when it appears on the edge, big players already started to take profit... lol

no no no, my lesson learnt, never sell at loss, protect your capital.

i will only average her with whatever money i have, and treat it as my FD to get dividends. just a matter of time she will go back up.

P/s: i am ready to see her at 6.00/6.20, ho ho!
*
notworthy.gif your patience..
MBB is certainly not the kind of stock that goes down but never recovers..

QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 18 2009, 01:53 PM)
There is no such thing of a standard fair value, it depended on individual call.

Some can say 14.00, some can say 18.00, all are right based on their valuation.

Valuation or fair value call is about your expected return from it.

Just like it is paying 90 cents dividend pa. so we need to see its EPS at least >90 cents, which to justify the cost we are paying let say 18.00, which translate into 5% yield. <--- do you satisfy the 5% yield from the stock? If answer is yes, ok Rm18.00 is a fair value for you. But if I demand more because of more risk involved in current economy situation, so I aim for 6%, so my fair value is Rm15.00.
Based on current fundamental factor (if EPS and dividend doesn't go up), Rm18.00 actually can sell liao as a bit toppish already, little more room for the upside unless there will be significant EPS improvement.
*
I see, so there is no determined valuation for a stock.. all depends on how investors value it notworthy.gif
