im queueing to buy Hong Leong Bank, any sifu got advice for me ?
Dividend wise not that great, around 4%
It is somewhat steady counter, and still got some room to go up....
Interim report coming end of this month... and since hlbank is so conservative, i think they are doing fine...

my queue is @ 5.80, 1lot.. (test test water tongue.gif )

Compugates top active, surge in volume after quiet for a couple of weeks.

still trading at 0.065/0.07

denitely stucking investor's money for buying other potential growing stocks.

but on the bright side, can we call her "defensive" stock? tongue.gif

QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 17 2009, 11:36 AM)
Based on book value, PER, around 6.00 is already fair value. It is a potential target for acquisition if BNM wants local bank to consolidate further. But normal acquisition is being done not more than 2x or 1.5x based on its book value, so the max it can go under current fundamenal factor is around 6.xx ~7.00

Dividend is a bit 'kedekut' compared to others counterpart.

Being monitor this stock quite long. Never move much.
*
yeah im expecting somewhere between 6.xx and 7.00
thanks cherroy notworthy.gif

yaya that's the ironic part.

therefore, to avoid missing boat, one could buy small sum today, if tomolo super mega sales, atleast you still have ample of bullets to shoot for the remaining.

best still, if market rebound on tomolo, you are on the boat (safely) already.

im using this strategy this time round. hope it doesnt backfire..

Correction is here~~ finally,, wub.gif

Target:
Rcecap <=0.65
Tanjong < 15.00
Sealink <= 0.75
Bjtoto < 4.30
Hlbank <= 5.80
Mbb <= 6.00

Are you buying 1 lot (1000) or 1 lot (100) for stocks like < RM5?
*
>Rm5 i buy 1,000 units..
3-5 i buy 2,500 units..
1-3 i buy 5,000 units..
<1 i buy 10,000 units..

thats why i focus on few counters only..
difficult to keep track on company news if i hold too many counters

All your stocks except Rcecap and Dialog are giving div. So after accumulate, can shoot again
*
jason,
I notice dialog is buying back lots of shares (almost 17m now), and since this is the 4th quarter, im hoping for a final dividend or treasury share tongue.gif
report should be out anytime soon..
Also, the price has been steady around 1.17-1.19.. what do u think ?

meanwhile rcecap is a bit kiamsiap la... 0.75cent dividend only.. (after tax)...
