Not really. Depend on what you wanted to do with you laptop. You can list out the so called conflict with HD4570 here so we can discuss about it.
Have you tried to download the latest driver released by Dell in their website? You also can try to browse for third party driver or a modded one.

i can safely say there's no problem with HD4000 GPU on Vista x64 and Win7 x64...

even apps also... have used x64 OS for more than a year and ve yet to encounter apps and games compatibility problems...

but hey, now Win7 comes with XP mode... this problem is solved...

anyone tried undervolt before? what's your lowest result?

no i don't alt tab and check the temperature.. i left this software run for like a day, it records my max, min and average temperature.. and don't know why it never increase to 80'C (max 72'C)..

I don't know whether is accurate or not, but my laptop doesn't feel hot for me after i undervolt it.. my HWMonitor records only 32'C - 52'C on my CPU temp..

and no, i didn't use any cooler for my laptop..

Yea.. it reached 100'C even on default clock.. that i don't know why.. i'm not an expert in this.. and yes, according to dell, overclocking GPU will void the warranty

I'm very happy with my undervolt tuning, my laptop is able to last around 4 hours on high performance battery option and hardly reach 50'C temp. my laptop is as cool as 31'C now..

I wanna share my result    :

i have a problem. lately whenever i play any media mp3, avi or etc... i got lag spikes at certain time frame. let say total time for 1 movie is 45min, the lag will start at 35min. its the same for all media. even mp3 let say total time is 4min the lag will start at 3min. it's weird because i dont have any application running at the background except my anti virus. any ideas how this happen? i tried to disable the anti virus and no improvement. i try to play the media file at different computer and it play smoothly. i guess its just the laptop not the file that got problem. is there any other way to find out whats the cause of the lag spike?

Thanks for the link. quite useful program n info too BTW i just noticed it happen only on wifi connection,  currently trying to reinstall my wireless driver if it can solve the probem.

Added on November 5, 2009, 11:22 pmbtw, Eset Smart Security 4 doesn't work well with win7, just found out recently.. Firewall doesn't work anymore, web access protection doesn't work anymore too.
