that is the normal price for the 8700 model with 4gb ram. but the display is the normal one. 1366x768. Price last time i bought for my friend 3299 with free dell targus laptop bag, dell mice, targus lock. Color was plum purple i think.

You can get it at any Dell Shop. It's like the high-end version for 1555.

And yes. You can notice the difference between t6500 and the p8700. A few seconds on application startup. And can hold the stress of opening multiple applications and videos.

BTW Dell is not a singaporean company. It's from the USA. Big boss is of course Micheal Dell. Why didn't u order at Dell.com.my or call them via the Malaysian number?

ya...i guess the dvd-rom is quite sensitive !if my cd dirty a bit at the back side then it won read, but same disk i put in other dvd-rom, no problem to read at all!!
i duno is tis the 'sensitive' u mean!!or u mean its sensitive to those *Ahem disk!!!

i actually prefer tis kind of slot-in design!it looks cool compare to the old fashion cd-rom!!
but, if the cd-rom got problem,then its extremely troublesome to change the cd-rom...
its not attach to the notebook actually,wat u c from outside is jus te casing...if wanna change the cd-rom,u haf to dissamble the whole laptop!

and about the function key!!!

hmm....i dun think we can switch between the normal and multimedia key in windows!!!only can do it in bios...~~
And abt the cd-rom, all my Ahem cd run well with the cd-rom!!installing those Ahem games,no problem at all...
ask ur friend copy the games in ext hdd lah....
