as i check on them everyday, they did not show any kind of sign. cos i take them out daily just to run around a lil. no wet tail. i usually put them in shaded places before i leave for work, far from sunlight. but yesterday weather was hot. could dat be the caused?i leave my room fan on all the time, but i do close my window.

morning JXplod, thanks for your info. Well just to let u know what is happening now. I have two Robo left, the other is still active and lively as usual, but the other is showing signs like wet tail. last night both of its hind legs are not moving, sort of like paralysis and it seems pretty weak. it just lie there sleeping and seems like breathing heavily.
I am thinking to bring it to the clinic later. wat do you thk could be the cause? |

yes. i have separate it from the other hamster. once i notice the second acting weird, i immediately take it out and plc it in a separate cage to sleep.
any recommendation or suggestion of good clinic to bring it to? |

thanks for the JXplod and unknownhammie. i actually have him now with me in the office. he is lying there sleeping. his tummy shows signs he is still breathing, just as if he is breathing v heavily. i try not to touch it to much. they seldom fight. and if do, i will separate immediately. cos i bought all from the same breeder.
if whole body paralysis, is euthansia the only way or will treatement help him to recover? currently both hind are not moving, but the fronts are still moving. just he is struggling to move and stand at times and it hurts me to see him this way |

Update:
JXplod, unknownhammie, i bring about bad news. my robo did not make it all the way to the clinic. when i arrived, he is dead. *cries* The doc says there are blood stain on the nose and whiskers and suggest might hv fight with my previous decesed robo and might hv gotten and infection. i feel so sad.... so now i am cleaning and disinfecting the cage to prevent my remaining robo from leaving me |

any specific brand of type i should get? is dettol advisable, in minimal amount to disinfect it with? also, besides kuaci, what else is should i feed them to ensure they hv sufficient nutrient? wat about the water? i use normal drinking water, not shared from my mouth, but fresh from the bottle. is dat ok? |
