Recently i notice my hammies pass water quite often.. Not very much water juz quite often only.. Is this normal? I notice he getting chubby also.. Don't know it's a good things anot cause he very less run on the wheel don't know izzit b cos he too fat to run o what.. I'm worry about his health.. 

Also my bf planning to bring his hammies back his hometown at penang by KTM Train. Is it ok if a hamster travel on a train for about 6-7 hours? What do & don't should i know so that my hammies won't be so stress out?

Awww.. Ur hammy very chubby & cute leh.. More chubby than mine.. Yaya.. he also very lazy.. just know eat den sleep only.. Ohh.. then i shouldn't be worry about taking him to travel coz i search google abt it & some said it's fine but some said it's not good as they will easily stress out so i kinda confused..

I just bought my first hamster.. or hamsters should I say.. Currently I got only one cage but definitely will get a new cage for the other syrian..

Anyways, I'm using this cage to house my syrian..



Is it big enough for one syrian? How bout the tubes? Can a full grown go through it?

I finally brought Vitakraft Menu for my hammie.. At 1st i really afraid he might not like it or touch it. Once i pour it into his serving bowl he quickly grab it stuck into his mouth until fat fat de.. den he kept it at the corner & running to his serving bowl & search again.. I really glad that he like it.. 

But i notice inside got many sunflower seeds.. I notice it's a daily foods for hamster so it'll not make my hamster become more chubby rite? Hehe.. coz like human too chubby is not healthy.. 

ah sipek sad, my 5 litters , 3 pear white dead due to canabalism, then left 2 agouti.. 1st time pregnancy by the mama T________T sad sad

it means the monther hamster eat her own baby... 

aih winter white, sad sad, 3 pearl just die like tht. maybe is 1st time , the mother take time to get used to it ba. give it another chance to her.

lol pandera, thanks for the advice and info, throughout the pregnancy day, i just left them over there. just notice 3 of them dead in dent, such a sob sob day . jia lat. not sure wht running on her mind .

Hi, will hamster bite those chloroplast ? is it possible to use chloroplast to use as wall so they can't climb up the DIY cage ?

I know how you feel cause my hamster just gave birth yesterday (Tung day!! =D) and i saw there are 5 pups!! Still 5 today..i pray and hope all 5 will be alive and healthy till they're at least 3 weeks old..

I always worry they'll die as they're so tiny and so fragile..scared the mum eat them also..aih..kept worrying!!

But apart from that..congrats ya for becoming a grandpa JxPlod!! =) Cant believe im a grandma too.. =)

Here are the pictures i took when i first saw the baby..i went to KL for 3 days and came back yesterday..saw one of my hamster super fat and she wasnt moving..so i touched her lo..she just looked at me and then she moved a bit and i saw the first baby!! =D I was overjoyed!!

  Is winter dwarf and winter white hamster same species ?

I saw petsmore selling it but I didn't get it because a bit confuse.

is th same actually, just look at the front 1st post  u will know about it the difference between ww n others breed. btw where ur location hw come u say u cant find any ww. i think kl supply is over flooding with ww. every where also can see it . price wish rm10 to rm15. big super market abit higher.

nothing much leh. just mix food + fresh vege/fruits + mealworm or snacks.. all 6 of my hammies don't run on the wheel de. I bought 6 and never been use to run, they only use it to lying in it..

lol. got view them at midnight around 12am or 1am? they should be very busy running the wheel or climbing the cage d. mine run like mad... LOL can generate the electric power if got dynamo hehehe.

my midnight is peaceful. cuz day time they also slp, night time they also slp. hahaha
