My hamster been scratching himself more than usual.. i think its mite problem.. Since i change to this new brand bedding, this problem occur. Maybe i need to change back to corncob.. i put a big plate of sand bath, and he seems to enjoy bathing on it so much..

Got some dry skin or something on his ears..not sure what it is. He does not look sick, active as usual..just that seems more itchy scratchy than usual.

Anyone know how to get rid of the mites? I change and soak the aquarium where he live.. any medicine to buy?

Ono apple flavor wood shaving.. not sure what type of wood la this bedding. Here in JB hard to find those better brand bedding.. other alternative is corncob.. but quite expensive RM15 per pack.
