too much kuaci is really not that good for hamster, this info you also gotten it, try to reduce the intake of kuaci for hamster, the best hamster food is a balance diet for hamster that the best hamster food we all seek. if dont want too hassel is vitakraft formulate hamster diet. consider 1 of the favourable.

is normal for hamster to be active on night, mine also like tht . they will sleep till 12am then awake n will be busy running here n there d. hahaha. that how hamster act , is normal ^^ no worry about it

that is 1 great achievement you have there, as hamster take time to learn where to pee at a certain place, mine all end up in the sand bath, imagine the sand just stick on the bowl hahaha.... well sleeping in the pee place, maybe he find the place comfortable for their rest or nap, that possibility. for smell i dont think they bother much, as the cage we hv for them, they also pee around, n the scent stay with them, so they get used to it. but i bet ur hamster just sleep a while at there n change place right. for me i got put 1 house for them to sleep whenever they feel like it. is a small matter no worry ^^

he gonna travel with its cage? if yeah then try put extra bedding & few of its favorite food....& try to avoid to shake a lot....should be a problem....but if he going to travel with a smaller container then maybe hamster will stress out...coz smaller environment & different....if so try to put bedding & its favorite food also..if he is very tame try to confort him during the journey but be very careful so that it dont escape....better try not to remove it la....scared later if he escape...then big trouble...    try wait for other sifu to ans u also...hahaha good luck.....

heard hamster cant live alone so i bought this new roborovski, about same age, same breed, diff family, and surprisingly they never fight at all haha. just smelling each other and now slping together. But the new guy seems like very tired and sleep only..is that normal?

and saw some wound at the mouth and paw...most probably injured at the pet shop one. nothing i need to do right?

@@ or being pervert. Hmmm the male is weird, all he does is sleeping..or lying down, seldom run around or jump or anything. even i knock the cage also wont give me response. normal?

can hamster eat cat food ahh??... recently i adopted an old syrian... but i didnt have any hamster food around... i got some cat food, so i gave him eat anyway...

but after few days i see he kinda like didnt touch the cat food... just now i fed him with mealworm, he damn happy... lolz....

mayb i'll just keep him rather den feeding him to the snake...

find the location where your hamster pee. put the toilet over there & put the wet pee bedding inside it. that should attract him/she the smell & as time passby he/she will know that that is the place to pee. u can also buy the toilet litter which will get hard with the hamster pee & wont smell bad. if your hamster changes his/her peeing location just change the toilet location to that place too.

if u couldnt find any wet bedding then u might want to put no bedding first & after few hours smell the cage & see where is wet....use tissue to sock the pee & put it in the toilet. btw u cant train hamster to poo in the toilet coz their poo will usually stuck at their butt & come out slowly  & some times they eat their poo back coz there is undigested food in it. only can toilet train a hamster to pee.

not everybody recommended that coz some hamster could just live alone,
my hammy's parents were introduced quite some time later though,
and their parents borned out babies for the 3rd batch already (Mine is the 2nd batch)...

i'm not a pro,
but from what i have read around,
before you introduce them,
be sure to get a small cage to separate them

what i read before people say they will usually fight. robo & WW is easier to accept new member. its best to add when they are young.

if u buy just monitor them both & see. if they fight u can try to change the cage position & the environment & put both inside at the same time. coz maybe before they fight for territory & since now both environment for them both are new maybe they wont fight. clean the cage also before to remove any scent. maybe it will work or maybe not....anyways always have a backup plan if they fight then u need two cages

actually if ur bf plays & spend time with the hamster is enough already. wont be lonely....but if dont have enough time then yeah..adding a member would be good. u can get from breeders in lyn also, they are more tamer & well cared compared to pet shops. not expensive too, last time i saw someone was selling at 10 or 15...dnt remember 

maybe he is not in alert mode? usually after 11am already alert one. for syrian hamster when the ears are standing up that means active & alert already...can play & let him explore around. but in afternoon or evening if take out his ear will be dropping so that shows he is not alert yet, sleepy & want to sleep only. i dont know bout ur robo but just check out the ears....maybe same like syrain
