haha ic ic
update me about the size if can owh ya guys about the wheel right i read that although above 8 inch wheels can be used for syrians it doesnt mean the bigger the better cause if its too big and knowing our beloved critter loves running fast they might sumersault. hamlet use to do it in his ball cause it was too big for him so i only let him run in the ball stationary at one place and i will stop him from going too fast to prevent this its dangerous ya so not too big and definately not too small please i read that its fine to have a 6 inch wheel for syrians the rule of thumb to buy a wheel is that it depends on your syrian syrians grow up to 8" and range between 6" to 8" therefore, the wheel should be 6" for 6" hamster do correct me if i am wrong |

haha true mark
cause i read before the reason why 8" is recommended is cause syrian usually grow full size till 8" i also read that syrian hamster not easy to keep because they are suppose to be given a smaller wheel when young and a bigger wheel when they grow older |

thats why dwarfs needs smaller wheels
otherwise will somersault haha 8" for dwarf is too big might injure themselves the reason for buying a wheel of right diameter is so that when your pet runs, the spine is straight and not bent like how most syrians are when given a smaller wheel |

markjohn: aspen shaving not easy to find tho
aswen: i dont think its right to keep a chipmunk as a pet unless we are willing to let it hop on your trees and risk loosing it i mean as pets they should be tamed but we also should not keep it in a way that changes their nature right? hamsters like to burrow tunnels and dig so we provide them alot of bedding to dig in but chipmunks how? you grow a tree in their cage for them climb? |

@hublee: you clean the cage spanking new d.. put your new hamster in first and let him mark his territory then see can or not
also winter whites do well alone although they can be kept in pairs they tend to fight eventhou they are not solitary so don't worry if the male goes missing then you scared they lonely or wtv.. no i dont think after a sand bath they will stop fighting please do not try to wake your hamster during the day and play with it till it sleeps at night instead its the same as doing this: exhaust your hamster until it is fatigue and lethargic until no choice have to sleep at night just imagine if someone woke you in the middle of the night and ask you do work.. making you sleep during the day will you like that? in humans, research found that shift work causes loads of accidents and in rats, sleep deprivation has been found to kill or shorten their life span if you really really really want it to wake up abit earlier.. do it hour by hour then if they wake at 12am, then you wake them up an hour before than, 11pm for a week then if they used to it d, the next week, wake them up at 10 pm and so on and so forth but i dont recommend this unless their waking hours are less than a certain amount of hours i forgot how many hours does hamsters typically sleep and wake markjohn: baby syriannn.. congrats! @hublee91: please take out one of your hamster immediately, winter whites can do well alone.. and even if they can be with other hamsters, they do well only in pairs not so much in groups actually unless introduced when young.. only robos are easy to be in groups
@ix3Rukia: happens to my dogs too. male wanna ride, female start growling @noruddin: don't feed too much mealworms, i read before that they actually cause digestive problems @omara86: well as long as their siblings dont mate each other.. if so their offsprings are from inbreeding which can cause genetic mutation and deformed physical features |
