Thanks.

Only at some of the banks (govt & GLC), right ?
*
You can only do transactions with the agent banks. Check the www.asnb.com.my on the details of the agent banks

I noticed that during the dividend announcement, they will also declare a bonus , for example, last year dividend was declared at 7.5% + 1.25%, so what is the 1.25%? Does anybody know what is the difference between dividend and bonus and how to calculate it? Does everyone qualify for the bonus?
*
the 1.25% bonus is to rewards those investor invested more than 10 years. If your investment is less than 10years then u get the prorate. The formula is :-
(no of months/120 mths) x principal amt

have a history of 11,150 of saving and 17k of withdrawal.
also, have 100k + 100k cert.
does this mean i still have a slot of 5,850 units available for asb saving?
hmm.gif
*

more limit to topup? how can it be so?
there was once when i have 100k cert and want to have another 100k, they said that it can't b done coz my limit available is less than 100k.. so need to withdraw some first from passbook n then proceed with the 100k additional cert..
*
individual limit is upto 200K, with the interest add on, within 10 years, your limit can be upto 400K if u reinvest your dividend. In case you withdraw any interest during this 10 years, the "allowed limit" will stay and u can add in anytime.

There is rumous flying around say can write letter to PNB and increase it, but there is no evidence to support it.

*
Less crowds means it take u faster to the counter, not necessary higher chance to get the unit in your passbook
