I think he meant in terms of price increase for an IPO, as the price did not appreciate over 25% like some other recent IPOs. I think it's generally because Maxis IPO price is already quite fair.

Im wondering the retail IPO price is set at 4.75, but the reference price is 5.00. so, what does that mean? does it mean we already earn 0.25 per share at the beginning?

Haha..ya I agree=)..One funny case. My uncle still referring 1lot= 1000shares. There is once, he ask his remiser to masuk 1lot of Mui Industrial @ 0.28. So the remiser applying the new term (1lot=100 shares), just entered 100 shares of Mui Ind for my uncle. In the end, my uncle pay more for the brokerage fee (RM42) than the 100 shares which cost him only RM 28.LOLS! My uncle sibeh    , straight away change remisier..hahaa

Today I just got my official letter from MIH with the IPO results... 

According to bank, my bank draft has been cleared by MIH. But MIH said will issue another cheque to me...troublesome~!

Icic.. thanks for the info..Now i get it.  I think it takes time to issue a new cheque .. I will follow up with them again..

The rounding is to the nearest million as per their accounts. ( needs more space to report bigger figures in the future )

Bursa reclassifies  the accounts to nearest thousand, with extra 3 zeros ( bulat/ bonus ) added.

I received my refund of difference by a CIMB cheque yesterday.

Questions:

1)The dividend is paid every quarterly? semi-annually? annually?
2)The dividend is being paid on January 10th. What is the time frame of share purchase being eligible for the dividend?
a)Can i buy on January 9th and still eligible for dividend on January 10th?
b)If not, same question vice versa, am i eligible for dividend if i sold me shares before January 10th?

Received my refund today.  My application was rejected because of invalid CDS account.  How do we check the status of our CDS account, e.g. is it nomimee, etc.?  Please advise as I have several IPO rejected in the past even though I passed the 1st ballot.  Gosh!
